When's the last time you accidentally placed a bet on the opposite side of your pick?

I did it last week... Friday night to be specific, I had been feeling like I was getting a cold so I took a lazy night to stay in.  And I just HAD to bet against my Pirates, I don't like to do it, but I knew it was the right play.  Put a pretty solid bet by my standards on the Brewers, grabbed a beer, and watched the game from top to bottom.  It was a close one, thanks to the Brewers pen (as expected) but in the end I was right, and the Brewers won.

Next day bookie sends the total, I dispute it, and go over my plays with him only to be shocked when I saw that I sent him "100 Pirates ML"

Wish I could say it was my first time, unfortunately over the years I have probably done it at least 5 times, probably pushing ten times.  It's so friggin great when you lose and found out you actually won... but this way... not so fun.  If I had been on a losing streak or even just lost on the week I would still hate myself for it.  Fortunately it was a good week and it got capped off with a nice night yesterday, so I'm all good...

So when was your last time?  And don't say never, or for people sake you're amateur.

500 on arizona ncaab bball vs ucla halftime spread and i clicked the wrong button i guess. The 2nd half spread came down to the wire and i thought i just got extremely lucky after a few free throws and bricks to cover only to soon realize how fucked i got. i yelled at the book manager for a while to no avail. I haven't made that mistake since....

Clicked the DOUBLE DOWN button when I meant to hit stay on 20 about 10 years ago. By the way I do not play online casinos anymore but I did get lucky a few times.

That hand was for $100 so as I was yelling NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! at the screen.......I see and hear the sound of one more black hitting the table with a card following to a $200 bust

I was up at the time and I was out of control being my average hand bet was $10

One of the worst feelings is thinking you won but actually lost because you fucked up placing the wager.

Lesson Learned:  Don't place wagers when you're really drunk
