First road game for BAMA and Ark on deck. Perfect sport for Duke who is outmatched but can put points on the board. This is not the same Duke team that rolls over + you are getting 24 points. As long as Duke can keep the turnovers to a minimum they have a chance to win this game. I have no doubt they will cover. This BAMA team is not a team built to cover big spreads especially on the road where Duke is going to put up at least 21 points meaning Bama would have to put up 50. NO WAY. This Duke team has some punch in them on offense and  will play like its their Bowl Game. Take Duke plus the points and 1 unit on the Money line if you can even find it. Bama had trouble putting away Penn State at home with a qb who had no idea what was going on now they face a team on the road that can score. I will take 24 points all day long.Stack the line; stop the run; and double Jones should stall Bama enough for the Duke offense to put up some up points.

You have a better chance of of hitting the lottery then of Alabama losing this game.  Could Duke stay within 24 points?  Absolutely.  Duke winning outright....YOU'RE DREAMING!

Duke put up alot of yards and points on Elon and Wake.  Elon isn't even an FBS team and Wake gave up 292 passing yards to Presbyterian.  So Duke has moved the ball very well and put up points on these two awful defenses.  And people think they will do the same against arguably the top defense in the nation?   Come on now...have a little logical perspective.

Seriously past me that joint bc if you think Duke is going to score 21 points on that D you have to be high.  That must be some good stuff.

Btw I went to that Bama-Penn St. game.  They had no trouble putting away Penn St. who is far superior to Puke.

I have daughters at Bama and Ohio State, so we attend games every year and follow both teams closely.

With all due respect, there is no way Duke beats the Crimson Tide.

Only reason Alabama didnt destroy penn st was because Saban would not embarrass Joe Pa.  He played conservative just to win.  Duke has no chance at all.

You guys are funny. Did any of you watch the Bama/PSU game; Bama offense is above average AT BEST; you had a first year qb playing his first road game and moving the ball up and down the field; if it wasnt for 2 key interceptions all in Bama territory; that game would have gone down to the wire. I have been gambling for almost 20 years and I have followed every team including Duke and this years Duke team is not a pushover. You guys totally underestimate home field advantage. Duke will play them VERY VERY TOUGH; and if they can just stay away from backbreaking turnovers instead of doing what Penn State did and drive the field then turn it over; they had 3 turnovers all inside Bama 25; Bama did not dominate that game especially when you consider Penn State had a 1st year qb playing; the line is 24 and it only takes 1 mistake by Bama to cover that spread and on the road crazy things happen. Betting big spreads on the road is recipe for disaster. Bama is no juggernaut that can't be stopped. Penn State wont even be in the top 25 by the end of the year. A couple of breaks go Dukes way and this will go down to the wire. Bank on it.

Above average at best.  Please don't show your football ignorance cuz.  Last year's heisman winner is probably the 2nd best running back on that squad.  They have 3 excellent wide outs and a pretty decent QB.  Plus PSU has a much better defense than Puke.  As far as home field advantage have you been to their stadium?  Bc I have and there will be more bama fans there than Puke fans.  There are high schools in Texas that have bigger stadiums than they do.  If you have been making these bets for the last 20 yrs I hate to know how many ATM trips you have had to take.

TampaDave you're going to have an interesting national championship game.  Do you show favoritism to either team and risk upsetting one of your daughters, or do you just sit back and hope for a good game?
