Best Wild vs Avalanche props for Game 5
| Player | Pick | |
|---|---|---|
| Over 0.5 assists | -105 | |
| Over 0.5 assists | -160 | |
| Anytime goal | -115 |

Game 5 Prop #1: Martin Necas Over 0.5 assists
Martin Necas has carried his regular-season momentum into these playoffs. The Czech-born center has notched nine points in the postseason, and eight have been assists. He set up two goals in the 5-2 victory in Game 4, and he's cashed the Over in helpers in four of his last five appearances. Necas already has six assists in only four games in this Western Conference Semifinal.
Playing on the top line with Nathan MacKinnon, Cale Makar, Gabriel Landeskog, and Devon Toews, you can see exactly why he's such a frequent playmaker. Necas also plays on PP1 and tallied an assist on the man advantage in Game 4. Also, Necas has four helpers in his last two home games in the playoffs.
Game 5 Prop #2: Quinn Hughes Over 0.5 assists
Quinn Hughes has been such a massive addition to the Minnesota Wild, and he's a vital reason they were one of the top teams in the West this season. The defenseman is certainly doing his part in the playoffs despite Minny being in a 3-1 hole, registering four assists in the series. Hughes was eighth in the NHL in 2025-26 with 69 helpers.
Hughes is undoubtedly a pass-first player, and he makes everyone around him better. The 26-year-old has hit the Over in assists in back-to-back contests, and he has two helpers in two road appearances in the series. Hughes has 10 assists overall already in the postseason.
Game 5 Prop #3: Nathan MacKinnon anytime goal
MacKinnon wasn't at his best in Game 4, registering just two SOG, but the Colorado Avalanche put their depth on full display, winning 5-2 regardless. However, MacKinnon still managed to get on the scoresheet, scoring an empty-netter to seal the deal late in the third.
That's now five games in a row in the playoffs with a goal, and he's netted six overall during the postseason.
MacKinnon led the NHL this season with 53 goals, and he's scored in back-to-back games at home as the Avs return to Denver here. MacKinnon also had 13 shots on target between Games 1 and 3. He'll bounce back tonight, and skating alongside elite playmakers like Necas and Makar strengthens this pick.
