Stars vs Flames prediction

Stars vs Flames Best bet: Matt Coronato Over 2.5 shots (-125)

Since November 7, no NHL player has more shots on goal than Calgary Flames forward Matt Coronato. He's pelted opposing goaltenders, hitting the Over in seven straight games with 36 shots during that span.

Despite a tough matchup for Calgary, the Dallas Stars rank 15th in shots allowed, while the Flames generate the seventh-most shots on goal. Coronato has also been red-hot, entering tonight tied for the team lead with seven goals.

Arguably the hottest player entering tonight's matchup, the trigger-happy American is in line to continue to do some damage on home ice.

Stars vs Flames same-game parlay

Rasmus Andersson logs a team-high 24:16 time on ice per game and ranks second on the team in blocked shots (39), just one behind Mackenzie Weegar.

Andersson has blocked 12 shots over his last four games, cashing the Over in each while logging his typical heavy minutes. The Swede will surely be tasked with handling the brunt of the Stars' high-flying offense tonight.

Meanwhile, Wyatt Johnston has hit a rough patch, posting just one point and three shots on goal over his past four games. He’s too good to stay this cold for long, so take advantage of fading him while you can.

Stars vs Flames SGP

  • Matt Coronato Over 2.5 shots
  • Rasmus Andersson Over 2.5 blocked shots
  • Wyatt Johnston Under 2.5 shots
