Our best NHL player props for Thursday, April 9

Take a look at our best bets and expert analysis below.

Prop #1: Clayton Keller Over 0.5 assists

-170 at BET99

Clayton Keller has been fantastic for the Utah Mammoth, scoring 26 goals and tallying 54 assists. While the odds aren’t amazing here, there are tons of reasons to believe it’ll hit. He’s cashed the Over in helpers in five straight, with eight total assists during that span.

The Mammoth take on the Nashville Predators tonight, and Keller has a goal and an assist against them across three meetings. More importantly, the 27-year-old has notched 35 helpers at home in only 37 contests. Nashville is also 26th in goals allowed and 27th in SOG conceded.

Prop #2: Matt Boldy anytime goal

+170 at BET99

Matt Boldy has scored a career-best 42 goals, which also ranks seventh in the NHL. The Minnesota Wild forward has started April on fire, already netting four times while scoring in three of his last four.

The Wild face the Dallas Stars tonight, one of the top teams in the West. However, that hasn’t been an issue for Boldy, who has scored twice across three meetings. Boldy also has a ridiculous 19 SOG in those matchups. The 25-year-old has also scored 21 goals in 35 road games.

Prop #3: Sidney Crosby Over 0.5 assists

-130 at BET99

Sidney Crosby is still producing the goods as the playoffs near. The veteran has notched 43 assists this season, ranking second on the Pittsburgh Penguins behind Erik Karlsson.

Crosby has cashed the Over in four of his last five, and across his last two games alone, he has four total helpers. "Sid The Kid" handed out two assists on Sunday against the Panthers, and another two the night prior against the defending champions.

He’s already registered three assists against the New Jersey Devils across two meetings. Crosby plays on the top line and is always on PP1. He ranks among team leaders in shot assists while also posting strong expected assist numbers, signaling both volume and quality in his playmaking.
