Panthers vs Hurricanes player props for May 28
Sebastian Aho anytime goalscorer (+220 at Sports Interaction)
Sebastian Aho was one of the better players for the Carolina Hurricanes in Game 4. He added an empty netter to help seal the deal, but Aho had seven shots on goal and looked to be way more assertive offensively than he had in any of the previous games in this series.
Aho has scored two goals in this series, and his production has been consistent throughout all three rounds, with 13 points in 14 games.
Aho had a game-high +1.544 expected goals in Game 4, and he'll keep it rolling tonight.
Andrei Svechnikov Over 2.5 shots (+120 at Sports Interaction)
Andrei Svechnikov had his best game of the series by far in Game 4 in Florida, but I guess that wasn't such a high bar with how he played in the first three outings.
That said, in the first two rounds of the playoffs, Svechnikov was the Hurricanes' best forward If they're going to have any kind of hope in this series, they need him specifically to get going.
Svech only had two shots on goal in Game 4, but registered six attempts on the net. Expect more of those attempts to reach Bob tonight.
Sam Bennett anytime goalscorer (+240 at Sports Interaction)
Sam Bennett has become one of the most talked-about players in the NHL. Not only is he playing for another Stanley Cup, but he's also trying to secure a bag in a contract year.
Bennett scored three goals in the first two games of this series and has 14 points in 16 games, tallying nine goals in that span.
It's rare to see Bennett and his linemates — Matthew Tkachuk and Carter Verhaeghe — held off the scoresheet in multiple games in a row in the playoffs. They weren't able to find any goals in Game 4, but they were dominant in Games 1 and 2.
Bennett is tied for the eighth-best expected goals per 60 in the playoffs, skating to a +1.72 rating. If the Florida Panthers are going to make any noise tonight, it's going to come from him.
