The Montreal Canadiens head to TD Garden to face the Boston Bruins on Tuesday, December 23. Boston won a close 3-2 game back on November 15, and tonight marks the third and final meeting between these teams in 2025.

My Canadiens vs. Bruins predictions and NHL picks suggest a different outcome than we saw a month ago, given Montreal's strength away from the Bell Centre, coupled with Boston's recent struggles.

Canadiens vs Bruins prediction

Canadiens vs Bruins best bet: Canadiens moneyline (+105)

The Montreal Canadiens are surprisingly underdogs heading into tonight, despite boasting an encouraging 9-3-4 road record. Furthermore, the Boston Bruins enter tonight having lost their last three games.

Rookie phenom Jacob Fowler gets the goal for Montreal tonight, playing in familiar territory as a Boston College product. He's fresh off a shutout against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday.

Amidst their three-game slide, the B's have mustered just over two goals per game. Not encouraging numbers to say the least.

The Habs are also in line for a significant lineup boost, as tonight, the recently re-acquired Phillip Danault is set to don the CH for the first time since the 2021 Stanley Cup Final.

His two-way play will give Montreal a boost on both sides of the ice and help the visitor pick up two key points heading into the Christmas break.

Canadiens vs Bruins same-game parlay

Canadiens blueliner Noah Dobson has certainly come as advertised, logging heavy minutes while putting up his fair share of points.

The Prince Edward Island native is currently tied for third in the NHL in blocked shots (85) and has hit the Over in seven of his last eight games. He leads the entire league in blocks during that span.

Oliver Kapanen recorded two points and seven shots in the last game, skating next to Ivan Demidov and Juraj Slafkovsky. That shot volume should continue against a Bruins' side ranked 27th in shots allowed.
