Who doesn’t love a Game 7?

The St. Louis Blues have pushed the Presidents’ Trophy-winning Winnipeg Jets to a seventh and final game, which will also serve as the finale for the NHL’s opening round.

Cam Fowler has been a standout performer for St. Louis in this series, and I expect him to find the score sheet again tonight as he highlights my best Blues vs Jets props and NHL picks for Sunday, May 4.

For more insight, look at our full Blues vs. Jets predictions!

Blues vs Jets player props for May 4

Cam Fowler Over 0.5 points (+105 at Bet99)

The St. Louis Blues acquired Cam Fowler from the Anaheim Ducks last December, and the blueliner has turned out to be one of the team’s most important players so far this postseason.

Fowler’s 10 points are just one back of Connor McDavid for the league lead in the first round, and I expect him to add to his totals tonight in Game 7.

The defenseman has found the score sheet in all six contests against the Jets, highlighted by a five-point outing in Game 3. Fowler has racked up five of his 10 points on the man advantage, factoring in all but one of St. Louis’ power-play goals in the series.

He's been dominant at 5-on-5 too, with his 56.31% expected goals ranking second among all Blues skaters as St. Louis has outscored Winnipeg 7-5 with him on the ice.

The puck has been in the offensive zone more often than not when Fowler’s out there, so there’s a good chance he extends his point streak tonight.

Kyle Connor anytime goalscorer (+140 at Bet99)

With Mark Scheifele still listed as questionable for Game 7 after leaving Game 5 with an undisclosed injury, the pressure rests on Kyle Connor to continue to lead the offense.

Fortunately for the Winnipeg Jets, Connor has shown that he’s more than capable of doing so in this series, as his four goals pace all players on either team. The winger has scored in four of six games against St. Louis while firing 15 shots on net — also tops among all skaters.

Connor has done a terrific job of getting to the front of the net, as his three goals from the high danger zone are tied for the most among all players in the first round.

The Jets are favored to win Game 7 at -150, but to do that, they’ll likely need to score more than the two they put up in Game 6. And if you do believe a Jets win is in the cards, it likely goes hand in hand with a Connor goal.

Connor Hellebuyck Under 21.5 saves (-120 at Bet99)

From a Vezina Trophy nomination for his play in the regular season to a frankly horrific showing so far this postseason, it’s been a rollercoaster of a first round for Connor Hellebuyck.

Is “playoff Hellebuyck” a real thing? Well, the numbers seem to back it up.

The Jets netminder posted a .925 SV% and a 2.01 GAA in the regular season but holds a pitiful .815 SV% and 4.42 GAA through six appearances in these playoffs. The Vezina nominee has already been pulled three times this series and has shown no signs of improvement after getting the yank once again in Game 6.

Hellebuyck has not recorded more than 21 saves in any of his six appearances in the first round, while the Jets are allowing just 22.8 shots against per game.
