This series is all but over. The Florida Panthers are seeking to punch their third straight ticket to the Stanley Cup Final by completing the sweep over the Carolina Hurricanes tonight in Game 4.
The Hurricanes have now lost 15 consecutive games in the conference finals and have zero answers for what the Panthers have thrown at them. The Panthers have made this series look like a varsity versus junior varsity series and will finish the Canes tonight.
Let's dive into this series as we seek out anytime goalscorer props in Game 4 with my May 26 NHL picks.
NHL anytime goalscorer picks for Hurricanes vs Panthers Game 4
Bennett (+210)
Marchand (+280)
Rodrigues (+400)
Hurricanes vs Panthers anytime goalscorer props for tonight
Sam Bennett (+210 at Sports Interaction)
Is there a player in the NHL who is more fit for playoff hockey than Sam Bennett?
Bennett has five points in the series and has been producing consistently through the postseason with 14 points in 15 games. Bennett has three goals in three games vs. the Carolina Hurricanes, but those came in Games 1 and 2, as he didn't find the back of the net in Game 3, but he did record an assist and had three shots on goal on his eight shot attempts.
Bennett and his linemates, Carter Verhaeghe and Matthew Tkachuk, have been feasting on the Hurricanes as the three of them have combined for 15 points (five each).
If the Panthers close this series out tonight, Bennett and his line will have a lot to do with it.
Brad Marchand (+280 at Sports Interaction)
Brad Marchand has been a bit quieter in this series when it comes to production, but his impact has still been felt in every single game. That said, Marchand did score in the previous game, which is the only goal and point that he has in the Eastern Conference Finals.
Throughout his career, Marchand has almost seemed to rise to the occasion and perform when the lights are at their brightest. His line has been extremely impactful through the postseason and has been considered to be the best third line in the NHL.
Marchand, Eetu Luostarinen, and Anton Lundell have only combined for three points through three games, but they were the Panthers' best line in Game 7 against the Leafs.
Evan Rodrigues (+400 at Sports Interaction)
Evan Rodrigues was bumped up to the Florida Panthers' top line in this series, and it has paid off. Rodrigues leads the team in scoring this round with six points through three games, but all of those points have been assists.
Through the playoffs, Rodrigues has 10 assists in 13 games and is one of the only Panthers who hasn't scored a goal yet. I can't think of a better time for him to score his first goal than in a potential close-out game to go to the Stanley Cup Finals. It's not that Rodrigues is incapable of scoring, he had seven goals in last year's playoff run, but for whatever reason, he hasn't been able to find the back of the net just yet.
Rodrigues, Aleksander Barkov, and Jesper Boqvist combined for eight points in Game 3 and should get quality chances tonight.
