Week 6 NFL Parlay Picks: No Winds of Change in the Windy City

Week 5 saw some expected blowouts but also featured some bigger upsets, in terms of outright winners. The only undefeated team heading into Week 5, the Arizona Cardinals, remained undefeated after a 17-10 victory over the San Francisco 49ers. Although backing them at home again is tempting, there are other teams I think primed for big statement wins.

Take a look at my favorite Week 6 NFL parlay picks, below.

PARLAY: Kansas City Chiefs -6.5 (-110) + Los Angeles Rams -8 (110) = +264

Kansas City Chiefs -6.5 (-110)

The Washington Football Team defense has been susceptible to giving up long yardage plays, surrendering four receptions of 40 or more yards through the air, and lead the league with two rushing plays of 40 or more yards. This means trouble, as the Kansas City Chiefs roll into town with the same high-flying offense we are used to seeing, but a defense that continues to struggle.

The good news for Kansas City this week is that they are up against a Washington team that will struggle to play catch up. With the Chiefs boasting a 9-1 record against the Washington Football Team, expect big yardage plays and a comfortable victory.

Los Angeles Rams -8 (-110)

The Los Angeles Rams look to make it two straight victories as they are back in action following a 26-17 victory on Thursday night over the Seattle Seahawks.

The last time these two teams met up, we saw a back-and-forth defensive contest where the Rams squeaked out a 19-9 victory. Expect a totally different outcome this year, as this Rams team has explosive ability – and lead the league in yards per completion at 13.3 and rank second in passing yards per game at 310.2, and have already logged 22 completions of 20 or more yards which is good for 4th in the league. It’ll be the Rams in a blowout against a Giants defense ranked 26th in points allowed and 29th in total yards allowed.

PARLAY: Las Vegas Raiders @ Denver Broncos first half total under 22.5 (-120) + Green Bay Packers 1st half 3-way (-140) = +227

Las Vegas Raiders @ Denver Broncos first half total under 22.5 (-110)

The Las Vegas Raiders have gotten out to very slow starts this year, ranking 31st in first quarter points per game averaging 1.6, and only 6.8 in the first half overall. They were held scoreless two weeks ago in the first half against the Los Angeles Chargers and only managed to put up three in the first quarter against the Chicago Bears.

The Denver Broncos haven't been much better early on in games, averaging 10 first half points. Expect both teams to get out to a slow start and struggle to put points on the board early on and take the first half Under 22.5.

Green Bay Packers 1st half 3-way (-140)

The Chicago Bears play host to the Green Bay Packers with the Bears hoping to take over sole possession of the NFL North with a win, but are in a tough spot versus a Packers team who blew them out in both matchups last year. Since 2011, they are 3-19 versus the Packers overall and only 1-10 at home.

They are plagued with injuries to their offensive line, and with Damien Williams put on the reserve/Covid-19 list, they are stuck with rookie Khalil Herbert and Ryan Nall at running back. I like the Packers to get out to a quick start on Sunday as they have all season long averaging 13.4 first half points per game.
