The NFL’s International Series rolls into London on Sunday, October 5, as the Minnesota Vikings take on the Cleveland Browns at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in a Week 5 showdown.

With Cleveland turning to rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel, my Vikings vs. Browns prediction leans on Minnesota’s experience to get the job done and cover the spread overseas.

For added value, I’m pairing that play into a Vikings vs. Browns same-game parlay with a pair of featured receivers.

Not only will the Cleveland Browns be starting a rookie quarterback, they’re also sporting an active 3-10 against-the-spread record dating back to last season.

As a result, I’m happy to plug my nose and lay the wood with the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5.

Minny quarterback Carson Wentz has been serviceable with a respectable 7.9 yards per attempt while ranking 10th in completion percentage and 12th in EPA per play.

So, as long as Minny head coach Kevin O'Connell and offensive coordinator Wes Phillips make the necessary adjustments to give Wentz more time and better protection after he was sacked six times last week, I like the Vikings to score enough points on offense to let their defense do the heavy lifting against Browns rookie QB Dillon Gabriel.

Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison's return led to a season-best showing from No. 1 wideout Justin Jefferson. While Jefferson hauled in 10 of 11 targets for 126 yards, he still failed to find the end zone.

With just a single score through four games, count on Jefferson returning to pay dirt in Week 5.

The final leg of this same-game parlay turns to Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, and he’s recorded 48 or more receiving yards in three of the first four games of the season after averaging 72.3 yards per contest in 2024.

I’m anticipating Jeudy remaining the No. 1 option in the Cleveland aerial attack and clearing this total Sunday.
