Carolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard enjoyed a breakout season in 2024, accumulating 1,195 yards and 10 touchdowns in just 15 games.
He showed signs of that in the previous season with 902 yards and nine scores, and I'm expecting the upward climb to continue as the Panthers have all five of their offensive linemen back for this season.
Hubbard found the end zone in nine of 15 games last season, and the Jacksonville Jaguars were one of the worst teams in the league against the run. The Jags allowed a running back to score in 13 of their 17 games.
Hubbard will be used at the goal line and can break one off, especially against Jacksonville.
Panthers vs Jaguars same-game parlay
While Bryce Young settles into his third season in the NFL, the Panthers should look to lean on Hubbard, especially on the road, where the young quarterback has struggled.
Hubbard had 64+ yards in nine of 15 games last season, including seven games of 90 or more yards if you want to try to run up the ladder.
Even with Hubbard running wild, though, the Jaguars should be able to come out on top at home.
