The San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks renew a rivalry that saw Seattle win last season’s divisional round, with San Francisco now looking to solve one of the NFL’s toughest defenses.
These 49ers vs. Seahawks anytime touchdown scorer predictions highlight four players to find the end zone on Sunday, Oct. 11, with more NFL picks available throughout the Week 5 slate.

49ers touchdown pick: Deebo Samuel Sr.
Deebo Samuel Sr.'s anytime TD prop is tradable up to 30% because I’m playing with house money. Deebo has cashed an anytime TD prop in back-to-back weeks for me, including an 80-yard lateral touchdown against the Cardinals and a receiving score against the Broncos.
With the Seattle Seahawks boasting a top-five defense, San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan will have to get in his bag. Samuel is one of the NFL’s most versatile offensive weapons, and Shanahan can manufacture touches for him as a receiver, runner, or gadget option near the goal line.
I'm also very bullish on Samuel in my 49ers vs. Seahawks prop picks.
Seahawks touchdown pick: A.J. Barner
Even though I’m playing the Under on his receiving yards, I’m willing to trade A.J. Barner’s anytime TD probability up to 26%. Both trades can hit because Barner doesn’t need much volume to find the end zone.
Barner caught seven touchdown passes last season, his first as Seattle’s starting tight end, including one in the Super Bowl.
The Seahawks also use Barner as their Tush Push quarterback. He scored on a one-yard rush last season and added another goal-line rushing touchdown in Week 2.
With Kenneth Walker gone and Zach Charbonnet still out, Seattle is still sorting out its short-yardage roles. Barner has two paths to the end zone: through the air or via the Tush Push.
First touchdown scorer pick: Rashid Shaheed
As long as Rashid Shaheed’s first-touchdown probability stays at 8% or lower, I’m in.
Shaheed is a two-time Pro Bowler and first-team All-Pro as a return specialist, giving him a path to scoring before Seattle’s offense even takes the field. He opened last year’s NFC Divisional Round against San Francisco with a 95-yard kick-return touchdown.
He isn’t just a receiver or returner, either. Seattle gets Shaheed involved in the run game, and he scored a rushing touchdown against the Chargers last week. He has received at least one carry in 11 of his 16 regular-season and playoff games with Seattle.
At this price, I like having three different paths to the game's first touchdown, and I expect the home team to ultimately prevail in my 49ers vs. Seahawks predictions.
Long-shot touchdown pick: Jordan Watkins
Injuries to San Francisco’s WR corps are getting Jordan Watkins more playing time. Watkins should be on the field for the 11 personnel packages (three-wide receiver sets), and he played a higher rate of snaps than any 49ers wideout besides Deebo and Mike Evans.
Speaking of which, with Deebo, Evans, Christian McCaffrey, and George Kittle, Watkins won’t get a lot of Seattle’s attention. Plus, Shanahan is an offensive guru who will dial up some gadget plays to catch the Seahawks off guard.
Ultimately, this is price dependent, but Watkins’ anytime TD prop is worth a sprinkle up to 8% because of his probable snap count and Shanahan’s scheme.
49ers vs Seahawks touchdown combo
I’m using Samuel at his current price and pairing him with JSN, who is the reigning NFL Offensive Player of the Year and has looked even better to start this season.
Smith-Njigba leads the NFL with six receiving touchdowns this season, scoring at least once in three games. He also caught a touchdown against the 49ers in the 2026 divisional round.
- TD picks: 13-23, -5.22 units
