The San Francisco 49ers hit the road to visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium in Week 6.
Mac Jones has been balling out in place of Brock Purdy, and he’ll be part of my best 49ers vs. Buccaneers player props. I’m also eyeing Emeka Egbuka and Christian McCaffrey.

Over 53.5 receiving yards | -114 |
Prop bet #1: Mac Jones Over 250.5 passing yards
I’m not sure if anyone could’ve predicted it, but Mac Jones has resurrected himself in the Bay Area since Brock Purdy went down injured. The Alabama product is looking like a legitimate starter and could potentially keep the QB1 role.
He’s completed 66.7% of his passes for 905 yards and six touchdowns against just one interception in three games. Jones threw for a whopping 342 yards in Week 5 in a nail-biter overtime win against the Los Angeles Rams.
In fact, he’s cashed the Over in passing yards in all three appearances this season, throwing for 279 yards versus the New Orleans Saints and 284 against the Arizona Cardinals. Jones is in a real groove right now, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers pass defense isn’t great, ranking 20th in the league.
Prop bet #2: Emeka Egbuka Over 72.5 receiving yards
Emeka Egbuka has been everything the Bucs could’ve asked for and more. The former Ohio State star is already shaping up to be one of the best receivers in the NFL. He’s reeled in 25 receptions for 445 yards and five touchdowns already.
Egbuka is definitely Baker Mayfield’s favorite target right now, and with Mike Evans out, that means Egbuka is getting even more targets. He’s had a pair of massive games over the last two weeks, cashing the Over in receiving yards in both.
The youngster had four grabs for 101 yards against the Philadelphia Eagles before hauling in seven receptions for 163 yards last weekend. Egbuka is a star, and the San Francisco 49ers are around the middle of the pack in most passing yards allowed.
Prop bet #3: Christian McCaffrey Over 53.5 receiving yards
We’ll stick with the receivers here. Christian McCaffrey is obviously a Swiss Army knife for San Francisco, serving as a running back and a receiver. As a pass-catcher, he’s been phenomenal this year, with 39 grabs for 387 yards and three touchdowns.
McCaffrey has cashed the Over in receiving yards in all but once appearance in ‘25. He averages 9.9 yards per catch, and had 88,92, and 82 yards through the air across the last three weeks. He’s always involved in the passing game.
Again, the Buccaneers do not have an elite secondary, either. Jones will link up with CMC many times on Sunday.
