Tulane vs UTSA prediction

Tulane vs UTSA best bet: Jake Retzlaff Over 1.5 touchdown passes (+106)

Jake Retzlaff has found his rhythm directing the Tulane Green Wave’s balanced offense, and his matchup against the UTSA Roadrunners sets up well for him to sling at least two touchdown passes.

The Roadrunners have allowed 16 passing touchdowns and 7.89 yards per attempt, ranking among the weaker secondaries in the AAC.

Retzlaff has seen a major spike in passing attempts and is averaging 7.4 yards per attempt, with explosive targets Shazz Preston and Omari Hayes, who can create separation and haul in scoring strikes.

Tulane converts 43% of its third downs and often finishes drives through the air, especially when defenses stack the box against its 180-yard rushing attack.

With UTSA’s secondary banged up and Tulane expected to move the ball efficiently through the air, Retzlaff should have plenty of opportunities to notch at least two touchdown passes for the third consecutive game.

Tulane vs UTSA same-game parlay

Preston has recorded more than 48 receiving yards in three of his previous five games and should do so again against this UTSA defense, allowing 12.5 yards per completion.

Retzlaff is mobile. He’s scampered for 52 or more yards in five of his seven games this season and meets a UTSA defense allowing slightly over five rushing yards per attempt.
