Arch Manning was the Texas quarterback getting all the hype heading into the season, but maybe we should have been more focused on Texas A&M’s Marcel Reed. Well, at the very least, the SGP for this week’s Texas A&M vs. Texas game will be.
Reed has become one of the most dynamic dual-threat QBs in the country, and this SGP banks on him living up to that in this pivotal SEC matchup.

Our best Texas A&M vs Texas SGP for Week 14
As I said, Marcel Reed has become one of the more dynamic dual-threat QBs in the country. He's thrown for 2,752 yards with 25 touchdowns while adding another 395 yards and six scores on the ground and I’m betting he does he thing through the air and on the ground in this matchup against Texas.
Reed has thrown multiple touchdown passes in all but two games this season, plus you can throw on Texas a bit. The Texas Longhorns rank 70th in success rate on dropbacks and have multiple TD passes in each of their last three games. So, adding Over 1.5 touchdown passes to this SGP at plus money feels like a no-brainer.
Let’s also take Reed to go Over 26.5 rushing yards. While he’s definitely focused on becoming a better passer this season, he's still a threat to run, and this is a modest rushing total. A number he's eclipsed in eight games this season.
