The Rutgers Scarlet Knights create a lot of scoring for both teams in their games, and now they'll get one of the higher scoring teams in the country in the Washington Huskies.

As such, my Rutgers vs. Washington props expect several players to rack up yards and touchdowns on Friday night.

Rutgers vs Washington props for Week 7

  • South Carolina Jonah Coleman o103.5 rushing yards (-114)
  • South Carolina Athan Kaliakmanis o268.5 passing yards (-114)
  • South Carolina Athan Kaliakmanis o1.5 passing touchdowns (+130)

Prop bet #1: Jonah Coleman Over 103.5 rushing yards

Washington Huskies running back Jonah Coleman is off to an incredible start to his senior season with 474 yards on the ground and 10 touchdowns through five games. Last year, he had 1,053 yards rushing and 10 touchdowns in 13 games.

He started the season with 177 yards rushing on 24 carries against Colorado State. While his numbers have been down over the last three games, I think strong defense played a bigger role than anything else.

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights rank 53rd in the country, allowing 128.2 yards per game on the ground. This will be their toughest test of the season by far in the ground game. Ohio was the closest similarity they faced to rushing success on the season, and they gave up 201 rushing yards in that game.

Coleman is averaging 5.8 yards per carry, and the Huskies are going to make sure he's heavily involved to try and keep their defense fresh against a tough Rutgers offense. This is a big number, but with his volume and efficiency, it's one he'll reach.

Prop bet #2: Athan Kaliakmanis Over 268.5 passing yards

-114 at FanDuel

While the Huskies have a great run defense, their pass defense is ranked 58th nationally, and they allow 205.2 passing yards per game. This will be the best passing offense they have faced this season as Rutgers ranked 19th in the country.

Rutgers quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis is also having a career year thus far in his senior season, with 279.8 yards per game and nine touchdowns to only two interceptions. He's thrown for at least 249 yards in every game this season, including 330 against a vaunted Iowa defense.

Rutgers is a 10.5-point underdog on Friday night, and it will need to score in bunches to keep up with the Huskies. The game script should give Kaliakmanis plenty of opportunities to hit this number in what could be a very high-scoring game.

Prop bet #3: Athan Kaliakmanis Over 1.5 passing touchdowns

+130 at FanDuel

Surprisingly, we're getting plus money on Kaliakmanis to throw two scoring strikes. He's done that in three of his five games this season, and this total is Washington's highest game total of the season thus far.

Only Iowa kept him from throwing a touchdown, and he only threw one against Norfolk State, but that was in limited playing time in a blowout. He still threw two touchdowns against Minnesota last time out, even though that was his worst passing game of the season.

Washington has allowed seven passing touchdowns this season and has allowed multiple passing TDs in two games this season. One was an extremely low-scoring game against Ohio State. This one will be high scoring, and with Kaliakmanis playing from behind, the likelihood of the Rutgers touchdowns coming through the air is much higher.
