We're into Week 2 of the college football season, with a little bit of data on every team now.

We've turned that data into CFB player props, as Covers' college football player prop projections have identified some of the best values on the board this week.

Here are our best Week 2 college football computer projections, featuring Arch Manning bouncing back, Kewan Lacy running wild, and John Mateer fighting some Wolverines.

College football player props: Our top Week 2 projections

Player Pick FanDuel
Louisvilla Caullin Lacy Over 50.5 rec yards -115
Texas Arch Manning Over 268.5 pass yards -114
Duke Cooper Barkate Under 57.5 rec yards -114
Iowa State Carson Hansen Over 50.5 rush yards -114
Mississippi Kewan Lacy Over 64.5 rush yards -114
Oklahoma John Mateer Under 241.5 pass yards -114

Louisvilla Caullin Lacy Over 50.5 receiving yards (-114)

Friday, 7:00 p.m. ET | Projection: 69.5 yards

Louisville's star receiver went for 62 yards in the season opener, and faces a James Madison team that allowed 475 passing yards to its only Power 4 opponent last season.

Alternate-total bet
Lacy is priced at +124 for 60+ yards — which shows tremendous value — and +178 for 70 yards or more, which also has some legs to it.

Texas Arch Manning Over 268.5 passing yards (-114)

Saturday, 12:00 p.m. ET | Projection: 300.2 yards

After last week's debacle, our projections expect a get-right game for Arch on his home turf.

Alternate-total bet
300+ yards for Arch is currently priced at +188, which shows very good value.

Duke Cooper Barkate Under 57.5 receiving yards (-114)

Saturday, 12:00 p.m. ET | Projection: 31.2 yards

Barkate went off for 117 yards last week vs. Elon, but our projections forecast a difficult day vs. a Big Ten squad in Illinois.

Iowa State Carson Hansen Over 50.5 rushing yards (-114)

Saturday, 12:00 p.m. ET | Projection: 61.9 yards

The battle for the Cy-Hawk Trophy is always hard-nosed, and our projections like Iowa State's hard-nosed RB to grind his way past his rushing total.

Alternate-total bet
Hansen's price for 60+ rushing yards is +132, another strong value play.

Mississippi Kewan Lacy Over 64.5 rush yards (-114)

Saturday, 3:30 p.m. ET | Projection: 78.6 yards

Mississippi is a double-digit favorite here, so they could be running heavy in the latter stages to close out the game — and our projection like him to top a modest rushing total after going for 108 last week.

Alternate-total bet
Lacy to get 70+ is a modest +106, but a high-value play. Going 80+ at +152 shows a little value, but not a ton.

Oklahoma John Mateer Under 241.5 pass yards (-114)

Saturday, 7:30 p.m. ET | Projection: 193.3 yards

After torching FCS Illinois State for 392 last week, our projections expect Mateer to come back to Earth against a tough Michigan defense. For what it's worth, our projections do like Mateer to top his rushing total of 30.5 yards.
