It’s time for Week 10 of the college football season, and we have you covered with player prop picks for the afternoon slate of games.
What angles should you take on Louisville quarterback Miller Moss, Minnesota wide receiver Le’Meke Brockington, and Virginia running back J’Mari Taylor?
Best college football player props for Week 10
| Player | Pick | |
|---|---|---|
| Under 273.5 passing yards | -114 | |
| Over 39.5 receiving yards | -114 | |
| Over 78.5 rushing yards | -114 |
Prop bet #1: Miller Moss Under 273.5 passing yards
The No. 16 Louisville Cardinals are rolling with a 6-1 record under Jeff Brohm. The offense is clicking, averaging 34.6 ppg and 413 total yards, leading to increased expectations and inflated player props in the betting market.
Miller Moss is a fine quarterback, but his passing yardage prop of 273.5 is nearly 20 yards above his season-long average of 256.1. He’s gone Under this number in four of his seven games.
He faces a Virginia Tech Hokies team that doesn’t have a wonderful reputation, but the defense hasn’t been performing terribly. In fact, the Hokies have limited four of their last five opponents to below 5.0 yards per play.
Virginia Tech has only allowed two of its eight opponents to throw for more than 273.5 yards. The Cardinals are 10.5-point favorites, so the game script likely won’t call for an excess of pass attempts.
With Isaac Brown back healthy in the backfield, the offense should be balanced instead of the pass-centric unit it was when the run game struggled out of the gates. Both teams in this contest rank outside the Top 75 in snaps per minute, which will also limit Moss’ volume.

Prop bet #2: Le'Meke Brockington Over 39.5 receveing yards
Week 10 brings a favorable matchup for the Minnesota Golden Gophers as they host the Michigan State Spartans. It’s been a rough start for Johnathan Smith and Sparty, who are 3-5 following five consecutive defeats.
Michigan State fields a porous defense that ranks 118th in EPA per play and 122nd in success rate. The secondary has been especially vulnerable (122nd in EPA per pass, 123rd in passing success rate), so Minnesota quarterback Drake Lindsey & Co. are primed for a quality day at home.
Fifth-year senior Le’Meke Brockington has emerged as the top pass-catching option for the Gophers, pacing the team in receptions (31), yards (339), and touchdowns (3). An effort was made to get him the rock starting in Week 3, and he’s averaged 6.8 targets and 51.5 receiving yards per game since then.
He’s entrenched as the team’s WR1 and should continue to put up similar numbers over the back half of the schedule. In a favorable matchup at home against a bad defense and flammable secondary, Brockington’s receiving yardage prop of 39.5 is simply too low.

Prop bet #3: J'Mari Taylor Over 78.5 rushing yards
The Virginia Cavaliers found themselves a transfer portal gem in running back J’Mari Taylor. A Walter Payton Award finalist at North Carolina Central after a 1,146-yard rushing season, Taylor’s talents have translated beautifully to the ACC.
He’s been Virginia’s offensive focal point, leading the team in scrimmage yards (694) with 217 more than the next closest player, and touchdowns (9) by four. Since the Cavaliers are 7-1 in the midst of the best season in recent memory, Taylor should continue to be the focal point down the stretch.
The talented tailback is averaging 20.1 rushing attempts across his last four games. Backup running back Xavier Brown is out for the season with an ACL injury, leading to an even bigger workload for Taylor.
Week 10 brings a juicy matchup against a California Bears team that has struggled to stop opposing ground games (105th in EPA per rush allowed, 91st in rushing success rate).
The Bears don’t get any push up front (136th in stuff rate, 132nd in line yards, 131st in power success rate) and should get mauled by a solid Virginia offensive line (14th in stuff rate, 19th in line yards ) that benefits from the return of one of its best players in center Brady Wilson.
