The Mississippi Rebels head to Memorial Stadium to take on the Oklahoma Sooners in a high-stakes SEC showdown.

Both teams boast stout defenses, but the real intrigue lies in the college football player props.

My Mississippi vs. Oklahoma props focus on markets for Mississippi’s Trinidad Chambliss and Kewan Lacy, as well as Oklahoma’s Isaiah Sategna III, breaking down how each could impact the game.

Read on for my top college football picks for Saturday, October 25.

Mississippi vs Oklahoma props for Week 9

  • Mississippi Lacy u72.5 rush yds (-114)
  • Oklahoma Sategna u70.5 rec yds (-114)
  • Mississippi Chambliss anytime TD (+125)

Prop bet #1: Kewan Lacy Under 72.5 rushing yards

-114 at FanDuel

This matchup doesn’t set up well for Mississippi Rebels lead running back Kewan Lacy

The Oklahoma Sooners' front seven has been dominant against the run, ranking third nationally in rushing yards allowed per game (80.4).

The Sooners control the line of scrimmage and rarely allow opposing backs to find daylight between the tackles.

Lacy has also been inconsistent lately, failing to clear his rushing prop in three of his last five games, as game scripts have forced Mississippi to lean more on the passing attack.

Against one of the most disciplined and physical run defenses in the country, Lacy’s volume and efficiency both look limited. The Under on his rushing yards is a solid play here.

Prop bet #2: Isaiah Sategna III Under 70.5 receiving yards

-114 at FanDuel

Isaiah Sategna III has been productive lately, clearing his receiving yards prop in four of his last five games, but this matchup is a tough one.

Mississippi’s secondary has held opponents to just 195.6 passing yards per game while allowing only 6.28 yards per attempt and 10.45 yards per completion, ranking among the nation’s most efficient units.

Their ability to limit explosive plays through tight coverage makes it difficult for receivers to post big yardage totals.

Sategna may still see targets, but chunk gains will be hard to come by against this defense. With the Rebels’ coverage limiting downfield success, the Under on his receiving yards is the sharper side.

Prop bet #3: Trinidad Chambliss anytime TD

+125 at FanDuel

Trinidad Chambliss is a dual-threat quarterback capable of scoring both through the air and on the ground, making him difficult for defenses to contain, especially in the red zone.

Oklahoma’s defense is strong, but Chambliss has shown the ability to create in tight spaces, using quick reads and scrambling ability to extend plays and score touchdowns.

Mississippi has leaned on Chambliss in scoring situations, particularly inside the 20-yard line, and I expect him to call his own number against the Sooners.

Chambliss has scored a touchdown in each of his last two games, showing that he’s a formidable weapon for Mississippi’s offense.

With Oklahoma’s defense as robust as it is, I’m betting Chambliss finds his way into the end zone in this SEC matchup.
