Despite last week’s stunning loss to the Cal Golden Bears, the Louisville Cardinals still have a shot at the ACC title. They need some results to fall their way, and they have no room for error.

That means no slipups. But that’s easier said than done when they welcome the Clemson Tigers to town on Friday night. The Tigers have been a massive disappointment this season, but that doesn’t mean they are your typical 4-5 team.

I’ve created an SGP built on backing the underdogs, and for even more college football picks for this ACC matchup, check out my Clemson vs. Louisville predictions.

Clemson vs Louisville same-game parlay

The Clemson Tigers entered the year with national title aspirations. However, an underperforming defense, a one-dimensional offense, and injuries have led to a shocking 4-5 record.

That said, the Tigers are still fighting for bowl eligibility and are coming off a 24-10 win over Florida State. QB Cade Klubnik was stellar in that win, going 20-for-27 with 221 yards and a touchdown with no picks. And to be fair, Klubnik has thrown for 2,136 yards at a career-best 8.1 yards per attempt. The touchdowns just haven't been there.

Conversely, Miller Moss has been one of the Louisville Cardinals' problems. Moss is averaging just 6.9 yards per attempt and has an 11-7 touchdown-to-interception ratio. While star running back Isaac Brown will miss his second straight game.

While Clemson’s defense is disappointing, it still ranks 32nd in success rate. Louisville is 16th. This should be a close game, and the Tigers will have the better QB play with Klubnik. So, I like Clemson to pull off the upset at the end of the night.

While the touchdown numbers haven’t been there for Klubnik, at plus money, it’s worth adding Over 1.5 touchdown passes. He hasn’t been flashy, but he’s still tossed multiple TDs in three of his last five games. And Louisville just allowed Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele to throw for 323 yards and two scores.

Meanwhile, with Isaac Brown out, it should mean a big workload for backup Keyjuan Brown. The latter Brown has been in a groove, having carried the ball at least 10 times for 94 yards in each of his last three games. You can run on Clemson a bit, as it ranks 67th in EPA per rush.
