In a week full of awesome college football action, the most entertaining of the bunch goes down in Athens, where the Alabama Crimson Tide will take on the Georgia Bulldogs.

So, you know we’ve got to cook up an SGP for this epic rivalry, and it will be headlined by one of the biggest stars not only in this game, but in all of college football, Tide wideout Ryan Williams.

See who else I think pops off on Saturday.

And if you want even more college football picks for this riveting SEC clash, check out my Alabama vs. Georgia predictions for Saturday, September 27.

Our best Alabama vs Georgia SGP for Week 5

It was a slow start to the season for Ryan Williams after gaining just 30 yards on five catches in the Alabama Crimson Tide’s stunning season-opening loss to Florida State.

But it sure appeared that Kalen DeBoer wanted to get his star wideout going in last week’s game against Wisconsin. Williams was targeted six times, catching five of them for 165 yards and two scores. And I’m betting he keeps that going against Georgia this week.

Now, coming into this season, I expected this Georgia defense to be arguably its best since the championship seasons a few years ago. But that’s not how they’ve played at this point.

We just watched Tennessee’s Joey Aguilar throw it all over the yard against the Bulldogs, torching them for 371 yards and four touchdowns with his top two receivers going for 177 yards and 97 yards, respectively. As a result, Georgia enters this game ranked 79th in defensive success rate on dropbacks.

Williams can go Over this number on one catch.

He and Alabama’s other playmakers are why the Crimson Tide can pull off the upset here. Compared to a Georgia Bulldogs offense that has been inefficient this season, ranking 98th in points per quality drive.

That said, the Bulldogs will have a chance to get things going on the ground. Alabama ranks 49th in EPA per rush. Georgia uses several backs, but Nate Frazier has become the No. 1 option

Frazier carried the ball 14 times for 73 yards in the win over the Vols and has topped this number of 53.5 in each of his last two games.

Note if there is an applicable parlay boost available.
