Sanogo to lead the game in points (+240 at FanDuel)

The most significant mismatch for any player this weekend may be the one Sanogo presents for Miami in the post.

Here's something to chew on: Since tournament expansion in 1972, a team with a starting center that is 6-foot-7 or shorter hasn't won the national championship.

Unfortunately for Miami, the Hurricanes have one of those centers, and defending post-ups will be a nightmare for them. The Canes finished the season in the bottom 5% of post-up defense, allowing opponents to score 51% of the time on these actions.

Of course, I like Sanogo to go over his points prop of Over 17.5, but why stop there? News came out today that Jordan Hawkins (UConn's best perimeter scorer) would miss practice to "rest."

We don't know if that will impact his play, but it makes you wonder.

I'm already expecting the Canes to "sell out" on the 3-point line to force the ball inside, which will play to Sanogo's benefit. However, if Hawkins is limited, Sanogo should be an automatic cash for this prop as he would then become the Huskies' primary scorer.

I'll take a shot here with the biggest mismatch on the floor.

Sanogo Over 1.5 assists (+145 at DraftKings)

It's not lost on me that these two plays can somewhat contradict each other. However, it's not unreasonable for Sanogo to score a ton of points and have multiple assists as well. He's done it a decent amount of times this season, including against Gonzaga where he comes off a six-assist game.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a similar game plan from the Canes. Miami won't double the post as much as Gonzaga did, but Sanogo will still see his fair share of it.

That's pretty much the crux of the handicap, as Sanogo has already shown the ability to pass out of doubles throughout the season. The implied number here is around 40%, and given the matchup issues, it should be closer to 50%.

I'll take the value.
