There’s a marquee matchup on the hardwood tonight as No. 5 Arizona faces No. 15 UCLA, with two former Pac-12 rivals going head-to-head.

Arizona looks like the real deal early in the season, so I’m backing the Wildcats to cover the narrow spread.

Check out my Arizona vs. UCLA predictions and college basketball picks for Friday, November 14.

Tip-off is set for 10:00 p.m. ET from the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, with the game airing on Peacock.

Arizona vs UCLA prediction

Arizona vs UCLA best bet: Arizona -2 (-110)

Tommy Lloyd looks to have established a fearsome squad in 2025, led by veteran guard Jaden Bradley (16.0 ppg) and freshman phenom Koa Peat (19.3 ppg), who are surrounded by a wealth of talent.

Lloyd’s Arizona Wildcats have one of the best wins of the season thus far, knocking off the defending champion Florida Gators.

The UCLA Bruins, meanwhile, haven’t looked great this season. They narrowly squeaked by a bad Eastern Washington team (which is now 0-4), underwhelmed against Pepperdine, and beat a cupcake West Georgia team.

Mick Cronin’s Bruins have yet to cover a game this season.

Peat has a serious advantage anytime he draws Tyler Bilodeau. Cronin will mix and match so that this serious mismatch isn’t exploited too often, but that immediately puts the Bruins on their back foot.

The Wildcats should have a substantial rebounding advantage, which raises their floor in this matchup.

Even if the Bruins can find ways to disrupt Arizona’s offensive flow (i.e., disallowing Bradley his driving lanes, mix and matching with Peat), Arizona’s rebounding advantage and defensive prowess (15th in KenPom’s adjusted defensive efficiency) can cover those issues.

Arizona vs UCLA same-game parlay

An Arizona bet correlates best with the Over, as the Wildcats want to get out and run (34th in adjusted tempo). If UCLA were playing at Pauley Pavilion, I’d be more bullish on their chances of throwing Arizona off its preferred style of play, but this is a neutral-site game at the Intuit Dome.

If the Wildcats are going to implement their game plan, then odds are it happens in the first half and this game gets off to a hot start between two capable offenses.
