The Arizona Diamondbacks welcome the Boston Red Sox to Chase Field tonight for the start of a three-game weekend series.
Romy Gonzalez has been one of the hottest hitters in the majors over the past week, and I’m looking for Boston’s infielder to come up big again in my Red Sox vs. Diamondbacks predictions.

Red Sox vs Diamondbacks best bet: Romy Gonzalez Over 1.5 total bases (-115)
The Boston Red Sox had their three-game win streak snapped by the Cleveland Guardians on Wednesday, but it was another productive outing for Romy Gonzalez. The infielder went 2-for-4 at the dish to boost his batting average to a ridiculous .480 (12-for-25) over his last six games.
Gonzalez has eclipsed 1.5 total bases in three straight outings, as well as five of his last six contests, and he should be able to stay hot against a weaker Arizona Diamondbacks starter.
Eduardo Rodriguez takes the hill for Arizona after pitching six scoreless innings vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers last Saturday, but that’s been far from the norm for the southpaw. Rodriguez owns a lackluster 5.40 ERA and 1.62 WHIP this season, surrendering four or more earned runs in six of his last 10 starts.
The right-handed Gonzalez is batting an insane .330 against lefties this year, so I expect him to dominate against Rodriguez tonight.
Red Sox vs Diamondbacks same-game parlay (SGP)
Boston is also sending a question mark to the hill tonight, as Payton Tolle will be making just the second start of his MLB career.
Expect two of the best offenses in the majors to easily combine for Over 9.0 runs, and I also like Ketel Marte to spark the Diamondbacks' offense with another RBI.
