The Texas Rangers have gotten destroyed on the road this season, winning only 12 of 34 games.

My Rangers vs. Twins predictions see their road woes continuing against Trevor Larnach, Byron Buxton, and a Minnesota offense poised to wreck Jack Leiter.

Let’s take a closer look with my MLB picks for June 11.

Rangers vs Twins prediction

My Rangers vs Twins best bet: Trevor Larnach Over 1.5 hits+runs+RBI (-110 at bet365)

Texas Rangers starter Jack Leiter has posted solid numbers this season, but they’ve been aided by luck. Leiter has held opponents to a .193 batting average against, an elite mark but one well below his expected average of .255.

It’s a similar story in terms of ERA, where he's allowed 3.48 runs per nine innings, which is much more appealing than his 4.60 xERA.

His numbers are bound to take a turn based on the performances he’s putting out. Trevor Larnach is one player who could help bring that regression to the forefront.

Leiter has allowed more power stats to left-handed hitters this season, and Larnach profiles extremely well against what he throws.

Leiter primarily attacks lefties with fastballs and sinkers. Larnach’s numbers pop off the page when isolating those pitches thrown by right-handed pitchers: He's hitting .306 with a .385 xwOBA and 16% barrel rate since May 1.

Taking a more simplistic look, Larnach has cleared this line at a healthy 60% clip in games facing off against RHPs. His H+R+RBI numbers are also better when playing on home soil, averaging 2.2 per game in Minnesota compared to 1.9 on the road.

Rangers vs Twins same-game parlay (SGP)

Trevor Larnach 2+ H+R+RBI

Byron Buxton 1+ hit

Twins moneyline

Byron Buxton is coming off a three-hit game against the Rangers last night and has also recorded multiple hard-hit balls in each of the two games prior — both of which he finished hitless.

He’s starting to make better contact with the ball, and that should continue against Leiter. Buxton is hitting .351 against Leiter’s two most prominent pitches since May 1, and he'll add another knock to his total tonight.

If Larnach and Buxton are to have productive days at the dish, it only makes sense to jump on board with the Minnesota Twins as well. They own a strong 19-11 record at home, while the Rangers have struggled mightily on the road.

If the Twins are able to get to Leiter, the Rangers will have difficulty keeping up with their 26th-ranked offense.
