Take a look at our best bets and expert analysis below.
Prop #1: Hurston Waldrep Under 2.5 earned runs
The Braves haven’t had much to cheer about this season, but Hurston Waldrep is a definite bright spot.
While he had a brief cup of coffee last year, he’s carved out a nice role in the rotation since coming up in August, due to Atlanta’s injuries.
The youngster has gone 4-0 in seven appearances (six starts), compiling a 1.33 ERA. He’s yet to allow Over 2.5 earned runs in a single outing. Last time out, Waldrep held the Seattle Mariners to two earned runs across five innings of work.
His ERA also lowers to 1.50 at home, and the Houston Astros just got shut out by Kevin Gausman on Thursday. Another dominant start could be in line for the right-hander.

Prop #2: Tarik Skubal Under 1.5 earned runs
My MLB picks shift over to the reigning AL Cy Young winner, who looks well on his way to winning another award. Tarik Skubal has gone 13-4 with a 2.10 ERA in 2025, striking out a whopping 222 hitters in just 180 innings. His stuff is absolute elite.
Skubal has cashed the Under in earned runs surrendered in four consecutive appearances. In fact, he didn’t allow a single run in three of those starts. Last time he took the mound, the southpaw threw seven scoreless against the Chicago White Sox, scattering just two hits.
Skubal has never faced the Miami Marlins before, but just based on his recent form, it’s hard to imagine they will be able to do much against the most dominant left-hander in the sport.

Prop #3: Teoscar Hernandez Over 1.5 total bases
Teoscar Hernandez and the Los Angeles Dodgers face the San Francisco Giants tonight, who send veteran Justin Verlander to the hill. While a lot of this lineup hasn’t enjoyed success against the future Hall of Famer, Hernandez is an exception.
He’s 3-for-7 lifetime versus Verlander, and he also happens to be coming in hot. Hernandez has cashed the Over in total bases in two straight games, even smacking three home runs during that span.
The slugger has swung it well against the Giants this season, batting .273. It wouldn’t surprise me if he keeps it rolling in the series opener. Hernandez clearly has a ton of confidence at the moment.
