Phillies vs Dodgers best bet: Jesus Luzardo Under 2.5 earned runs (-135)
Jesus Luzardo has been a nice pickup for the Philadelphia Phillies this year, going 14-9 with a 4.03 ERA across 30 starts. He’s struck out 200 hitters in 169 2/3 innings of work while walking 56.
The lefty has cashed the Under in earned runs allowed in three of his last five outings.
Last time out, he did give up four earned, but Luzardo still lasted eight innings. Prior to that, the southpaw allowed just two runs to the Marlins and even threw a scoreless 6 2/3 frames against the Braves.
He faced the Los Angeles Dodgers earlier this year, surrendering zero runs in seven innings of work. Luzardo also allowed a mere two hits.
Los Angeles is struggling at the moment, and he’s held their lineup to a .222 average across 68 at-bats.
Luzardo has pitched better on the road, compiling a 3.50 ERA compared to 4.50 at home. All signs point to another dominant outing for him.
Phillies vs Dodgers same-game parlay (SGP)
Blake Snell has been his same dominant self since returning from the IL. He’s always been a strikeout pitcher, and that’s once again the case in 2025. Across 48 1/3 innings, he’s collected 55 Ks.
Last time out, Snell racked up 11 strikeouts against the Rockies. He’s cashed the Over in punchouts in two of his last three outings. Snell also has 29 Ks in 73 at-bats against the Phillies.
Kyle Schwarber is just 2-for-11 off Snell in his career, but he’s cashed the Over in hits in eight straight games. The veteran is swinging it well, and he’s also got a homer against Snell. Schwarber has now gone deep 53 times.
His hitting streak will continue tonight, even if it means getting to the struggling Dodgers bullpen.
