HR picks for May 30
Christian Yelich (+370 at DraftKings)
Christian Yelich has clubbed 10 home runs, with five long balls in May alone, and he’s gone deep three times in the last six games.
The Milwaukee Brewers outfielder has also had success against Philadelphia Phillies starter Taijuan Walker. He’s 4-for-8 lifetime with a home run and three RBI.
Yelich is hitting .364 over the last week and has a lot of confidence at the moment. He could smack No. 11 tonight.
Jose Ramirez (+550 at DraftKings)
Jose Ramirez has been one of the most consistent hitters in the big leagues for years. He’s also in the middle of an epic 21-game hitting streak right now, batting .318 with nine home runs and 27 RBI.
The Cleveland Guardians face Los Angeles Angels righty Jose Soriano tonight, and Ramirez has made his life a living nightmare. In 10 lifetime at-bats, Ramirez has four hits, and three of them are home runs.
Ramirez had four bombs against the Angels last season, and it’s only a matter of time until he reaches double digits in homers.
Aaron Judge (+140 at DraftKings)
Aaron Judge is a regular in my picks, and as you can see by the odds, it’s a regular occurrence for him to go deep. The 33-year-old is hitting .391 with 18 home runs and 47 RBI. Judge has gone deep twice in his last six contests, and tonight, revenge will be on his mind.
The New York Yankees are set to begin a series with the Los Angeles Dodgers, the same team that beat them in the World Series last fall. Judge has only faced Tony Gonsolin twice, but he boasts a home run against the right-hander.
Four games without a long ball is a long time for Judge, and the matchup against the defending champs will have the Yankees captain motivated.
