The Los Angeles Dodgers have fired on all cylinders of late, piling up the wins in blowout fashion.

With a red-hot offense, and a favorable pitching matchup, my Giants vs. Dodgers predictions see the home side winning decisively once again.

Let’s break down my MLB picks for Saturday, September 20.

Giants vs Dodgers prediction

Giants vs Dodgers best bet:  Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 (-115)

The Los Angeles Dodgers are really hitting their stride as the playoffs near. They’ve won nine of their last 12 games, out-scoring opponents by a whopping 34 runs in aggregate.

Of their nine victories during that span, only one came by a single run. Eight of nine wins were decided by two runs or more, with seven of them coming by at least three runs. They are lapping the field right now.

It just so happens five of the last 12 have come against these same San Francisco Giants. The Dodgers are 4-1 against them with a +14 run differential.

They are positioned nicely to build on that Saturday night. Tyler Glasnow will be taking the bump for the Dodgers and he is pitching extremely well.

He has allowed more than four hits only once all season and he held the Giants to just three hits, and one run, over nearly seven innings of work his last start.

He should be able to keep their offense in check, which is problematic with Kai-Wei Teng taking the mound.

The 26-year-old has struggled, allowing 19 runs in less than 27 innings since August 2. It’s unlikely things improve against this lethal Dodgers lineup.

This has all the makings of another lop-sided victory for Los Angeles.

Giants vs Dodgers same-game parlay (SGP)

Betts has gone through his share of struggles this season but they appear to be in the rearview. He has cleared this line in six of his last 10, averaging 2.9 total bases along the way.

The splits heavily favor Freeman in this spot. Kai-Wei Teng has allowed a near .300 average to lefties while Freeman has hit .297 against right-handed pitchers. The big bats should tee off against the inexperienced and struggling Teng.
