The Atlanta Braves look for their second consecutive victory when they welcome the San Francisco Giants to Truist Park tonight.

Atlanta’s bats are booming, and my Giants vs. Braves prediction expects the Atlanta sticks to lead them to victory.

Read on for my MLB picks for Tuesday, July 22.

My Giants vs Braves best bet: Braves moneyline (-106 at FanDuel)

While San Francisco Giants starter Landen Roupp’s 3.27 ERA looks solid, his underlying road numbers tell a different story.

Roupp’s 4.26 xFIP and .333 BABIP over 51 1/3 road innings signal looming regression for the 26-year-old righty.

That vulnerability plays into the hands of a red-hot Atlanta Braves lineup that’s scored 31 runs across their last five games.

Meanwhile, Braves starter Davis Daniel’s balanced pitch mix has impressed over a handful of innings with a 1.80 ERA, and the Giants’ 22% strikeout rate against righties plays to his strengths.

A rested Braves bullpen, boasting a fifth-best .273 BABIP and sixth-best 3.74 SIERRA, should contain a Giants offense averaging fewer than three runs over their last five games.

Braves moneyline

Matt Olson 2+ total bases

Under 9.5

Matt Olson’s been driving the ball well with 2+ total bases in four of his previous five games. The sample is small, but he is also 2-for-5 against tonight's starter.

Monday’s high-scoring contest was an aberration. Their previous 10 meetings have ended 3-7-0 to the Under, and I’m betting into that trend.
