Tanner Bibee has been a very solid starter for the Cleveland Guardians since coming up to the big leagues in 2023. This season, he’s 4-4 with a 3.57 ERA in 10 starts, striking out 43 in 58 innings of work while walking only 18. The righty is consistent week in and week out.
Tonight, he’ll face a tough challenge in the Los Angeles Dodgers, who are elite offensively. However, Bibee has allowed Under 2.5 earned runs in five of his last six outings and just tossed seven scoreless against the high-flying Detroit Tigers last week.
In 23 at-bats, L.A. has compiled a .304 average against Bibee. In one career start versus the defending World Series champions, Bibee held them to two earned runs across five frames. Also, the right-hander is lights out at Progressive Field, compiling a 1.46 ERA in 2025 in four appearances. He’s only surrendered four earned runs in over 24 innings on his home mound.
Bibee will keep the Dodgers at bay in the second game of this series.

Betts has cashed the Over in hits in six of his last seven games, finishing with at least one hit in three straight. As for his history against Bibee, Betts is 1 for 3 lifetime. He’ll keep the hitting streak going tonight.
While Dustin May’s 4.09 ERA isn’t anything to write home about, he is racking up the Ks. The righty has struck out 49 hitters in 50.2 innings of work. He has swing and miss stuff, and it’s been on full display lately. May has cashed the Over in punchouts in back-to-back outings, too.
May struck out eight against the Arizona Diamondbacks last week and then compiled another eight Ks in his start before that versus the Los Angeles Angels. The Guardians are also striking out 7.94 times per contest this season.
