The Los Angeles Dodgers head to Oracle Park tonight to begin a weekend series with the San Francisco Giants.

Logan Webb takes the mound for the home team, and my Dodgers vs. Giants predictions are bullish on his chances of having a successful day at the office.

Read on for my MLB picks for Friday, July 11, with first pitch set for 10:15 p.m. ET.

Dodgers vs Giants prediction

My Dodgers vs Giants best bet: Logan Webb Over 5.5 strikeouts (-110 at BetMGM)

It’s widely known that the San Francisco Giants have found themselves a bankable ace in Logan Webb, who sports a career 3.32 ERA and 3.02 FIP.

The 28-year-old is turning in his finest season to date (2.62 ERA and 2.33 FIP), kicking into an extra gear through 19 starts. He ranks eighth among qualified starters in Pitching+ (113).

After turning in some worrisome contact quality numbers in 2024, Webb has erased that issue by ranking in the 73rd percentile in barrel rate and the 75th percentile in hard-hit rate.

The right-hander has also found a newfound knack for the punchout with a career-high 27.2% K-rate. That number hasn’t reached 23% in any of the last three seasons, so it’s a notable uptick.

The books have set Webb’s strikeout prop at 5.5, a number he’s exceeded in seven of his last eight outings and 14 of his last 18.

While the Los Angeles Dodgers have a star-studded lineup, it hasn’t been performing at the peak of its powers lately.

Across the last 20 days, the Boys in Blue rank 26th in wRC+ (69) against right-handed pitchers with the fourth-highest K-rate (25.3%).

Dodgers vs Giants same-game parlay (SGP)

Logan Webb 6+ strikeouts

Under 7.5

Rafael Devers 2+ hits + runs + RBI

San Francisco is 18-27 O/U at Oracle Park this season, including a run of three Unders in the last four games in which Webb takes the mound.

Dustin May gets the call for the visitors, and he has a 1.41 WHIP and 4.62 FIP against left-handed hitters. Rafael Devers is a known masher of RHP (career 138 wRC+) and has been consistent with at least one hit in seven of his last eight games.
