A fall classic is ahead with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays hitting Rogers Centre for Game 7 of the World Series tonight.

My Dodgers vs. Blue Jays predictions are headlined by Los Angeles superstar Shohei Ohtani, who’ll start and lead off with an opportunity to further solidify his standing among the all-time greats.

Find out more in my MLB picks for Saturday, November 1.

First pitch is set for 8:00 p.m. ET in Toronto, with the game airing on FOX.

Dodgers vs Blue Jays Game 7 predictions

Who will win Dodgers vs Blue Jays Game 7

The Dodgers staved off elimination and grabbed momentum with the Blue Jays blundering on the basepaths late in Game 6.

Now, Los Angeles has the luxury of turning Ohtani loose on the mound, and I’m expecting the L.A. lineup to cash in on pending statistical correction after being held to a .233 BABIP despite a rock-solid 11.0 barrel percentage during the World Series.

Dodgers vs Blue Jays best bet

Shohei Ohtani Over 4.5 strikeouts (+100)

Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani fanned six Toronto Blue Jays in Game 4 after picking up 19 strikeouts across 12 frames over his first two postseason starts.

He’s also posted an elite 12.9 K/9 and 35.9 K% for the playoffs while holding opposing hitters to a minuscule 3.4 barrel percentage and 30.8% hard-hit rate.

Toronto has also posted a 5.9 barrel% and 35.8% hard-hit rate as a team during the World Series, which is well below their respective 8.1% and 41.1% marks during the regular season.

Ohtani has also been a touch unlucky this postseason with his 2.64 xFIP slotting in below his 3.50 ERA.

I expect him to pitch deep enough into Game 7 to pile up five or more strikeouts tonight.

Dodgers vs Blue Jays Game 7 same-game parlay (SGP)

Similar to Ohtani’s underlying numbers not matching his surface statistics, the Los Angeles lineup is also eyeing continued statistical correction at the dish. The Dodgers have a rock-solid 11.0 barrel% and respectable 40.0% hard-hit rate, but they’ve been held to a .233 BABIP and .266 wOBA despite a .308 xwOBA.

Los Angeles faces Toronto veteran Max Scherzer for the second time in the series, and Los Angeles was able to put three runs on the board, including two solo homers, across 4 1/3 innings.

Turning to the total, I’m expecting a few more runs tonight after the two teams combined for just 11 across the past two games. In particular, in addition to the highlighted Los Angeles numbers, Toronto has a 3.05 team ERA despite a 4.49 xFIP.

Dodgers vs Blue Jays SGP (+450)

  • Dodgers moneyline (-140)
  • Over 8 (-105)
  • Shohei Ohtani Over 4.5 strikeouts (+100)

Dodgers vs Blue Jays home run pick for Game 7

Teoscar Hernandez (+550)

Teoscar Hernandez has homered off Scherzer with a .334 ISO across 11 career plate appearances, and the veteran outfielder has also hit 19 of his 25 home runs against righties during the regular season.

Of course, Hernandez also has five homers during the playoffs.
