The Toronto Blue Jays can win it all with a Game 6 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers at the Rogers Centre on Friday, October 31.

However, my top Dodgers vs. Blue Jays predictions and MLB picks are calling for Los Angeles to push the World Series to a seventh game on the heels of a solid outing from Yoshinobu Yamamoto.

Dodgers vs Blue Jays Game 6 predictions

Who will win Dodgers vs Blue Jays Game 6

The Dodgers have the starting pitching edge with Yamamoto dealing, and Blue Jays starter Kevin Gausman eyeing statistical correction. I expect the Los Angeles lineup will do enough damage to force a Game 7.

Dodgers vs Blue Jays best bet

Yoshinobu Yamamoto Over 6.5 strikeouts (+100)

Los Angeles Dodgers starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto has fanned seven or more batters in three of his four postseason starts, and his 8.16 K/9 and 23.4 K% in the playoffs are actually lower than his respective 10.42 and 29.4% marks during the regular season.

There’s always potential that Los Angeles manager Dave Roberts has a short leash on the righty, but there aren’t many alternatives in the bullpen bringing the same elite pitch mix.

Plus, Yamamoto is coming off consecutive complete games while scattering just seven hits and a single walk across the 18 innings.

While the Toronto Blue Jays don’t send a swing-and-miss lineup to the dish, Yamamoto ranked ninth in baseball in swinging-strike percentage during the regular season, with his highlighted 29.4 K% ranking fifth.

Dodgers vs Blue Jays Game 6 same-game parlay (SGP)

Toronto righty Kevin Gausman battled in Game 2, and while he took the loss, he managed to pitch his way through 6 2/3 frames while allowing just three runs on four hits.

Still, Gausman has out-pitched his underlying metrics, and left-handed hitters Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman will tee off on the righty in Game 6.

Gausman sports a solid 2.55 postseason ERA, but his 4.96 xFIP, along with an unsustainable .156 BABIP and 92.0% strand rate, suggest struggles ahead.

Turning to the two Los Angeles stars, Ohtani sports a .425 wOBA this postseason after posting a .438 mark against righties during the regular season, and Freeman respectively checks in at .335 and .372.

Dodgers vs Blue Jays SGP

  • Yoshinobu Yamamoto Over 6.5 strikeouts
  • Shohei Ohtani Over 1.5 total bases
  • Freddie Freeman Over 1.5 total bases

Dodgers vs Blue Jays home run pick for Game 6

Freddie Freeman (+425)

Freeman has a homer and .500 slugging percentage against Gausman during his career, and the Dodgers star also posted a solid .204 ISO with 16 big flies against righties during the regular season.
