After cruising to victory Tuesday, the Arizona Diamondbacks try to capture a series win when they continue their series in Atlanta against the Braves.

My Diamondbacks vs Braves best bet: Braves -1.5 (+115 at Caesars)
The Arizona Diamondbacks opened up the set with the Atlanta Braves with an 8-3 win on Tuesday, pounding Spencer Strider for five earned runs in his five innings of work.
Offense has not been a problem for Arizona, as they are fourth in runs scored per game in the majors, averaging 5.07 per contest.
Their problem lies on the pitching end, where they sport a team ERA of 4.75, a Bottom-7 mark in all of baseball. It's a big reason why they sit fourth in the West, two games under .500 and seven games back of the Dodgers.
Veteran righty Merrill Kelly gets the nod, looking to improve on a 5-2 record and 3.78 ERA.
He's been shelled of late, getting drilled for four earned runs on six hits, including two home runs, in a no-decision against Washington.
That came one start after getting tagged for six hits and four earned against the Cardinals. He does have a start against Atlanta this year, lasting six innings, in which he gave up two earned runs on two solo homers in a no-decision; Arizona eventually lost 8-7 in extra innings.
Atlanta's recent struggles have put them in an unfamiliar spot in the NL East: fourth, five games under .500, and 10.5 games behind the first-place New York Mets.
Offense has been a problem, as they rank 21st in scoring, averaging 4.05 runs per game. Pitching-wise, the Braves are outside the Top 10 in team ERA at 3.73, so they're not getting as great a help on that end of it either.
They're hoping Chris Sale can stop the bleeding. He's 3-3 on the year with a 3.06 ERA, and he's been pitching well lately. His last start was a gem, going six scoreless innings, two-hitting the Phillies in a 9-3 win.
He's allowed two earned runs in his last three starts, spanning 20 innings. Sale has won two of those starts, striking out 22 while walking just six.
Sale beat Arizona earlier in the year, pitching five innings and allowing just one run on five hits, while striking out four in an 8-2 decision.
If he can tame the Diamondbacks' lineup, Atlanta should be able to tag Kelly and even up this series.

Corbin Carroll is coming off a monster performance Tuesday against Atlanta, going 3-for-4 with two home runs, four RBI and three runs scored.
He's now hit safely in four of his last five games.
Normally, a lefty-on-lefty matchup would have me tagging the Under on Carroll's 0.5 hit prop, but he's had success against Sale, going 3-for-8 in his career, including a triple.
He's one of the few D-Backs to have success against him, so we'll run with that.
Let's end on Chris Sale's strikeout prop, which sits at 6.5. He's topped that figure seven times in his last nine outings, and four times in five May starts.
One of those misses was against the Braves, as he only had four punchouts. More than happy to roll this one into the SGP, though, especially with how unhittable Sale has been of late.
