The Philadelphia Phillies ended a five-game skid on Monday and are in a great position to make it two wins in a row tonight.
Mick Abel will be taking the mound for his third career start, and he's been tremendous thus far. The right-hander has allowed just one run on five hits through 11 1/1 innings against the Pirates and Blue Jays.
On the flip side, Chicago Cubs starter Colin Rea has been fighting it a bit. He had a solid appearance following an opener last time out in Washington, but surrendered six runs in each of his previous two starts.
The Cubs have also been losing steam on this road trip. They won two of three in Washington, scoring just seven runs while losing two of three in Detroit, and they mustered just two runs last night.
