The Toronto Blue Jays will try to sweep away the New York Yankees with a win in Game 3 of their American League Division Series.
The Blue Jays bats, led by Vladimir Guerrero Jr., have been banging through two games, but they’ll need to be at their best going against Carlos Rodon if they want to end the series at Yankee Stadium tonight.
I’ve brought you my best MLB player prop picks for this epic ALDS matchup. And for even more MLB picks, check out the full Blue Jays vs. Yankees predictions from Al’s Brother!

Blue Jays vs Yankees player prop picks
Prop #1: Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Over 0.5 RBI
Toronto Blue Jays star slugger Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has stepped up in the biggest way through the first two games of the American League Division Series, and I don't expect that in tonight’s Game 3.
Guerrero was an absolute stud in the first two games of the series, going 6-for-9 with two home runs and six RBI, including a massive grand slam to blow Sunday’s game wide open. Now, he goes to one of his favorite places in the world to hit – Yankee Stadium.
Vladdy owns a .308 batting average and a 1.002 OPS with 16 home runs and 30 RBI in 30 career games at Yankee Stadium.
There’s no reason to think he’ll slow down tonight when he faces off against Carlos Rodon. While the left-hander has been one of New York’s best starters this season, he won’t be happy to see a red-hot Vladdy.
Guerrero is hard enough to deal with on a normal day. But he’s red hot and has great numbers vs. Rodon. Vladdy is 10-for-17 in his career against the Yankees’ lefty, good for .392 expected batting average and a .592 expected slugging.
With the way the Blue Jays have gotten on base this series, you can’t pass up on this price for Vladdy to drive in another run tonight.
Prop #2: Aaron Judge Over 1.5 total bases
The numbers say New York Yankees superstar Aaron Judge is having a good postseason. But anyone watching knows his performance is still a little lacking.
Judge enters Game 3 of the ALDS hitting .444 with a 1.024 OPS. But his big RBI “hit” against the Boston Red Sox got some questionable scoring, and in the biggest moment in this series for the Yankees, he struck out with the bases loaded with the chance to take the lead in Game 1.
That said, we’re not betting on him to be a hero tonight. We’re betting on him to get bases, which he is undoubtedly doing.
Tonight, he’ll face off against Toronto Blue Jays right-hander Shane Bieber. While Judge doesn’t have the greatest career numbers against Biber, he has taken him deep in the past.
Even if it hasn’t been the most impactful, Judge has topped 1.5 total bases in four of his five postseason games so far this year. At close to even money, this looks like a great bet to make on Tuesday night.
Prop #3: Shane Bieber Over 5.5 strikeouts
Speaking of Shane Bieber, this is exactly the moment the Blue Jays went out and got him for – a big moment in the postseason. And there aren’t many bigger moments than a series-clinching game at Yankee Stadium.
Bieber has been mostly excellent since returning from Tommy John surgery at the end of August. The former Cy Young Award winner came back and threw to a 3.57 ERA and a 1.02 WHIP over seven starts.
He also struck out 23.3% of batters he faced. He now faces a Yankees team that looked lost at the plate in Game 2 against Trey Yesavage and his filthy splitter.
And while it may not have been recently, Bieber has had plenty of success against many players in this Yankees lineup. In fact, current Yankees batters have a 32.7% K-rate when facing Bieber over 55 plate appearances.
Bieber has been mixing his pitches well since his return and that should keep Yankees hitters off balance, who have looked uncomfortable for much of this series.
We’ve got the fever! We’re backing Bieber to go Over 5.5 Strikeouts in Game 3.
