NRFI/YRFI bets for July 8
Pirates at Royals: NRFI (-120 at ProphetX)
The Kansas City Royals are dead-last in the majors in OPS at home (.644). Meanwhile, the Pittsburgh Pirates have an OPS of just .582 on the road — the lowest number this century.
Both teams also have a pair of effective pitchers on the hill. Royals righty Seth Lugo has pitched to a sparkling 2.65 ERA with an OBA of .216 in 16 starts.
Buccos starter Mitch Keller has looked very sharp lately, posting a 3.08 ERA with a 2.92 FIP in his last 10 starts.

Guardians at Astros: NRFI (-134 at ProphetX)
The Cleveland Guardians are 28th in the majors in OPS (.658) and they plate a run in the first inning at the lowest rate (21.35%).
Today they take on the Houston Astros who are second-last in run first inning rate (21.98%) and are missing two of their top hitters in Yordan Álvarez and Jeremy Peña. The 'Stros will have ace Hunter Brown and his MLB-best 1.82 ERA on the hill.
The Guardians respond with prospect Joey Cantillo (3.41 ERA through 31 2/3 innings). Cantillo started the year in the bullpen but was called back to the Guardians rotation last week, throwing 3 1/3 innings of shutout ball against the Cubs.

Mariners at Yankees: YRFI (-111 at ProphetX)
The Seattle Mariners have an OPS of .769 on the road while plating a run in the first inning in a whopping 45.5% of their away games. They should be able to get to New York Yankees righty Will Warren who has a 5.02 ERA with a 1.42 WHIP through 18 starts.
Meanwhile, the Yankees lead the majors in OPS (.790) and rank third in run first inning rate (35.6%). They will face Mariners righty Logan Gilbert. Gilbert has a 3.40 ERA through 10 starts but he has struggled away from pitcher-friendly T-Mobile Park, pitching to a 6.00 ERA with an OBA of .313 on the road.
Gilbert also has a history of struggling against the Yankees, posting a 6.54 ERA in six career starts — including a pair of ugly games at Yankee Stadium.

❓What are NRFI and YRFI bets❓
NRFI (No Run First Inning) and YRFI (Yes Run First Inning) bets add a thrilling twist to the start of an MLB game. A NRFI bet is a wager that no runs will be scored in the first inning. You're betting that the starting pitchers for both teams will get through the first inning without allowing any runs, whether by striking out batters, inducing ground balls, or through solid defensive play.
A YRFI bet is the exact opposite. You're betting that at least one run will be scored in the first inning. In this case, you’re hoping for an early offensive burst such as a leadoff walk, a timely hit, or even a home run.
NRFI and YRFI bets add excitement to the early part of a game and offer immediate gratification for bettors looking for a quick resolution.
