Don't look now but the lowly Chicago White Sox are mashing. The worst team in the AL is suddenly putting up runs and tonight they're facing an Angels squad that scores a run in the first inning at the highest rate in the majors.
It's no surprise that my MLB picks are backing a run to be scored early in that late night clash. Check out all three of my best NRFI and YRFI bets for Saturday, August 2 below.

NRFI/YRFI bets for August 2
Twins at Guardians: YRFI (Play at Thrillzz)
With two struggling starters and two offenses trending in the right direction, it's surprising that the YRFI prop for this contest is available at plus money.
The Cleveland Guardians are giving the pill to Tanner Bibee who has a 5.58 ERA in his last seven starts. The righty has pitched to a 5.14 ERA in the first inning across 21 starts this year. The Minnesota Twins respond with Bailey Ober who has a brutal 9.00 ERA in his previous five starts.
The Guardians 10th in the majors in OPS over the last 15 days (.764). Meanwhile, the Twins are a respectable 11th in OPS (.750) over the previous 30 days.

Astros at Red Sox: YRFI/NRFI (Play at Thrillzz)
The Houston Astros are sending rookie Colton Gordon to the hill for today's showdown against the Boston Red Sox. Gordon has posted a 4.74 ERA with a 1.42 WHIP through 62 2/3 innings.
The lefty is in the bottom 15th percentile in xBA (.278) and ground ball rate, while sitting in the bottom 25th percentile in barrel rate. He should get rocked by a Boston lineup that is fifth in the majors in OPS at home (.787) and excels against southpaws.
That said, the Red Sox are starting Walker Buehler who has pitched to an ugly 5.72 ERA with a 1.54 WHIP through 18 starts. The veteran has been getting torched in the first inning where he has an 8.00 ERA with an OBA of .320.
Being able to get the YRFI prop at a pick'em price with two terrible starters on the mound and a productive offense is tough to turn down.

White Sox at Angels: YRFI (Play at Thrillzz)
Don't look now but the lowly Chicago White Sox are mashing. Over the last 15 days, they lead the majors in slugging percentage at .520.
Today they face the Los Angeles Angels who have also upped their offensive production lately. The Halos were second in the majors in on-base percentage (.334) in July and they now lead the majors in run first inning percentage (35.5%).
L.A. will send Kyle Hendricks (4.73 ERA through 20 starts) to the mound while Chicago is giving the pill to Aaron Civale (4.38 ERA through 13 starts). Both lineups strike out at a high rate but with Hendricks and Civale in the bottom 15th percentile in strikeout rate, they won't exploit that weakness.

❓What are NRFI and YRFI bets❓
NRFI (No Run First Inning) and YRFI (Yes Run First Inning) bets add a thrilling twist to the start of an MLB game. A NRFI bet is a wager that no runs will be scored in the first inning. You're betting that the starting pitchers for both teams will get through the first inning without allowing any runs, whether by striking out batters, inducing ground balls, or through solid defensive play.
A YRFI bet is the exact opposite. You're betting that at least one run will be scored in the first inning. In this case, you’re hoping for an early offensive burst such as a leadoff walk, a timely hit, or even a home run.
