Newcastle United has signed a new agreement with LeoVegas Group to extend the Magpies’ commercial partnership with BetMGM.

The previous agreement signed in 2023 created encouraging results for both parties and now, there are new initiatives set with BetMGM serving as English Premier League club’s official betting partner.

BetMGM UK’s headquarters are conveniently located in Newcastle upon Tyne. This has already led to BetMGM advertising along various LED boards, big screens, and static advertising spaces within Newcastle United’s home stadium, St. James Park.

The latest agreement has given BetMGM the ability to secure access to create exclusive content and experiences with the first-team players of Newcastle United. The goal of this initiative is to continue driving international engagement.

“Newcastle United and BetMGM have had an exceptional first year together,” said Peter Silverstone, Newcastle United’s chief commercial officer. “We have helped BetMGM to drive brand awareness and engagement in key markets, supporting its aim to create the world’s greatest iGaming experience.”

Silverstone added that the new agreement is a testament to how effective the club’s profile and support have been to BetMGM."

“Our BetMGM partnership with Newcastle United has been a success, and we are delighted to continue building on this fruitful collaboration,” said Sam Behar, UK director at BetMGM. “The club is incredibly ambitious, and their drive perfectly aligns with our Group’s core values. I can’t wait to get this season started and see Newcastle United continue on their journey.”

An example of BetMGM driving engagement with this partnership is evidenced by price boosts, enhanced bonuses, and a free-to-play Golden Goals offering, which has €2 million in prizes for players who predict six correct EPL scores. There’s also a current jackpot totaling €15.4 million available to BetMGM UK customers, along with other exclusive content and gaming experiences on the international sports betting and iGaming operator.

This partnership renewal with Newcastle United is the latest move for BetMGM, which has added several partnerships to its portfolio in 2024.

Newcastle finished seventh in the table last EPL season with 60 points.
