The New York Gaming Commission reported on Thursday that the eight mobile sportsbooks produced a dominating 16% hold on a $396.2 million handle during the week ending July 19.
Led by the World Cup Final, which eclipsed soccer betting records at multiple operators, gross revenue soared to $63.6 million for the week, a 98% year-over-year increase from the same period in 2025.

Week-over-week profits were up 6.4% despite FanDuel's New York customers wagering $28.5 million less than the previous period.
DraftKings was over the state average, generating a 16.5% hold on a New York-best $139.8 million handle. The online operator surpassed $20 million in gross revenue in consecutive weeks for the first time since the end of November and beginning of December last year.
Seeing double
Five of the other six New York online sportsbooks generated win rates above 10%. BetMGM led that group with a 14.6% hold on a $29.9 million handle, while theScore Bet kept 13% of $6.5 million in wagers.
Fanatics reached 10.3% on a $48.6 million handle, and BetRivers made it to double digits on $8.6 million in bets. Bally Bet won back 10.5% of a $3 million handle, while Caesars nearly made it eight-for-eight but fell short with a 9.8% hold on $25.8 million in wagers.
