Online casino operator BetMGM is set to relaunch a redesigned platform for its Borgata Online brand, available in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The revamp is set to be the platform's biggest update, which went live in New Jersey in 2013, and the launch will coincide with a July 4 fireworks show at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City on July 3.

Key Takeaways

  • Borgata Online will relaunch July 3 in New Jersey and Pennsylvania with its largest overhaul since debuting in 2013.

  • The rebuild adds simpler navigation and a unified hub for bonuses, Borgata Rewards, and MGM Rewards.

  • More than 4,000 games remain available as Borgata expands promotions around Atlantic City's July 4 festivities.

On the technology side, the online casino operator says the rebuilt site will bring Borgata Online closer in line with its flagship BetMGM Casino product, including a reworked interface, simpler navigation, and a revamped visual upgrade.

A new combined Rewards Hub will let players track bonus offers, Borgata Rewards points, and MGM Rewards status from a single screen, rather than separate sections. The catalog will remain large, with more than 4,000 titles, including live dealer tables and a mix of exclusive games.

Borgata-branded slots, including Borgata Gem Strike and Borgata 777 Respin Deluxe, are also scheduled to release throughout the year.

“Borgata wrote the first chapter of legal online gambling in 2013 and now we are writing the next one. Borgata players are some of our most engaged and loyal customers, so we wanted to ensure their experience reflects the exceptional quality that has become synonymous with the Borgata name. Borgata provides a seamless connection to online and in-person experiences and exemplifies what a legal, regulated online casino can achieve. This latest product investment underscores how seriously we take our responsibility to players, regulators, and all who have made Borgata Online what it is today,” said Matt Prevost, Chief Revenue Officer at BetMGM.

MGM Resorts and BetMGM extend their MLB partnership

That product push comes alongside a separate announcement from BetMGM's parent group. BetMGM and MGM Resorts International have renewed their partnerships with MLB under new multi-year agreements, continuing a relationship that dates back to 2018, when the pair became MLB's first official gaming and sports betting partners.

Under the renewed terms, MGM Resorts stays on as MLB's exclusive integrated resort and casino partner, a status that includes continued work on MLB Awards Week in Las Vegas, along with other league events built around marketing the sport's players. Lance Evans, senior vice president of sports and sponsorships at MGM Resorts, said the deal reflects the company's broader plans for sports and entertainment.

Separately, BetMGM's renewal keeps its branding and sports betting products visible across MLB's media properties, including MLB Network, MLB.com, and the league's digital channels in the U.S. and Canada.

Prevost added that the baseball partnership lines up with BetMGM's focus on innovation and responsible gambling. Both companies pointed to GameSense, a responsible gaming program licensed by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation to MGM Resorts, as part of the partnership's support for safer play among fans and customers.
