An anonymous guest from Connecticut landed a life-changing payout this week at Mohegan Sun, winning more than $2 million at a Spanish 21 table in Casino of the Earth.

The player triggered the massive $2,018,742.30 jackpot by placing the $5 Bonus Spin Xtreme side bet and spinning Triple Diamonds. This prize marks the largest single win at Mohegan Sun in 2025 and ranks among the top five table game payouts in the property’s history.

Key Takeaways

  • Connecticut player wins over $2 million at Mohegan Sun, marking 2025’s largest table game jackpot.
  • Slot players have recently scored six-figure jackpots on Huff N’ Even More Puff and Squid Game machines.

Elsewhere on the property, the slot floor also saw major activity. On July 6, a visitor from Bridgeport, CT, hit the Super Grand Jackpot on Aristocrat Gaming’s "Dollar Storm" for $211,079.52 in Casino of the Sky.
The next day, another player struck a $115,266.58 Grand Jackpot on "Railroad Riches" by Sega Sammy Creations, also in Casino of the Sky.

Both winners played within Mohegan Sun’s Hold & Spin Slot Zone, launched in 2024 and featuring over 250 machines with Hold & Spin bonus features. This area was part of a larger effort to synthesize modern slot gaming trends into a unified zone.

June brought another windfall for a visiting guest from Florida, who turned a $30 bet on Light & Wonder’s "Huff N' Even More Puff" slot machine into a $135,388.62 jackpot. The lucky spin occurred on June 16 at Casino of the Sky.

One of the spring’s most significant slot wins came on Easter weekend. On April 19, a Mohegan Sun guest hit a $627,479.43 jackpot on the "Squid Game" slot machine, also by Light & Wonder. The game, introduced in December 2024, mirrors the Netflix show with mini-games like Tug of War and Red Light, Green Light. The guest was betting $10 per spin when the Grand Progressive jackpot hit.

In March, a $484,268.96 jackpot was awarded to a guest playing "Monopoly Cash Wheel Blazing 777 Triple Double Jackpot Wild." The $5-per-spin wager yielded a line of three "Monopoly Jackpot" symbols, activating the Landmark 7000 Wheel progressive feature. This game combines Monopoly branding with Light & Wonder’s slot mechanics.
