Sleeper pick to win: Harris English

This will be the eighth trip to Quail Hollow for Harris English, and the five-time PGA Tour winner has a T3 in the 2023 Wells Fargo and T2 in the 2025 PGA Championship on his resume.
English also carded a T4 in the RBC Heritage three weeks ago and his scoring statistics are solid with ranks of 35th in adjusted scoring average, 16th in birdie-or-better percentage and 40th in bogey avoidance this season.

Sleeper pick to win: Alex Smalley

The statistics and results across Alex Smalley's past eight events don’t match his odds. He’s carded six Top 25s during the heater, including an impressive T7 last week, and Smalley’s also gained true strokes across the board during the run while ranking 10th in this field on approach and 12th in tee-to-green play.
He's also had success at Quail Hollow with a T18 here in 2023 and T28 in the 2025 PGA Championship.

Sleeper pick to win: Corey Conners

The Canadian has carded a T8-T13-T19 run while gaining true strokes on approach across his past three trips to Quail Hollow, and he’s gained true strokes putting in consecutive events leading into the 2026 Truist.
Additionally, while Corey Conners has just a pair of Top 15 finishes this season, putting it all together at a track he’s had prior success at is in the elite ball-striker’s bag.
