We're getting treated to another strong field the week after a major championship, with the PGA Tour heading to TPC River Highlands in Hartford, Connecticut for the Travelers Championship.

The Travelers Championship odds board is rightfully topped by Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, and Xander Schauffele. We break down the field and more below.

Scottie Scheffler is once again a runaway favorite with odds no longer than +300. He was never really in contention at Oakmont but backdoored his way to a T7 finish to keep up his insane run of results that includes three wins at the Byron Nelson, PGA Championship, and Memorial.

Oh, he's also the defending champion here in Hartford and finished T4 the year before.

Rory McIlroy's time at the U.S. Open was somewhat similar. He played poorly the first three days but managed a T19 result thanks to a 3-under final round when almost everyone else on the leaderboard was going the other direction. Still, the form is shaky, and his healthy 12/1 price reflects that after months of much shorter prices.

Xander Schauffele (+1600) rounds out the Top 3 after a T12 result at Oakmont. His form is good but not great: he hasn't finished worse than T28 since March, but also hasn't done better than his T8 at the Masters. On the flipside, the World No. 3 won here in 2022 and has logged Top-20 finishes in five of his six career starts.

His pal Patrick Cantlay is next despite missing the cut at the U.S. Open. He does have an expansive resume here at TPC River Highlands, though. He's finished T15 or better in each of his last seven tries, including back-to-back Top-5 finishes in 2023 and 2024. He can be found at odds as short as 16/1 but as long as 25/1.

Collin Morikawa rounds out the Top 5. He finished T23 at Oakmont and logged a T13 at the 2024 Travelers after missing the cut in 2023.
