The PGA Tour heads to TPC Southwind for the FedEx St. Jude Championship this week in Memphis, Tennessee.

It’s the first event of the FedEx Cup Playoffs, with 70 of the best on Tour in the field and on the FedEx St. Jude Championship odds lists. My top golf picks have you covered for all the action this week in Memphis.

Golf picks for the FedEx St. Jude Championship 2025

  • Schauffele to win outright (+1600)
  • Henley to win outright (+3000)
  • Conners Top 20 (+120)
  • Clark Top 20 (+160)
  • Berger Round 1 Under 68.5 (-105)

FedEx St. Jude Championship outright picks

Outright pick: Xander Schauffele
+1600 at DraftKings

With mounting momentum and favorable familiarity with TPC Southwind, Xander Schauffele is positioned to make a run at winning this week.

He finished T2 here last year and heads to Memphis with consecutive Top 10s at The Open and Scottish Open, while also gaining true strokes across the board and impressively gaining +2.60 per round on the field tee-to-green.

Outright pick: Russell Henley
+3000 at FanDuel

Russell Henley heads to TPC Southwind with four consecutive Top 10s in loaded fields, and he’s gained true strokes across the board to rank second in tee-to-green play and third on approach.

He’s also carded a pair of Top 10s at this track and will be teeing here for the eighth time.

FedEx St. Jude Championship prop picks

Finishing position pick: Corey Conners Top 20
+120 at DraftKings

Resting since The Open is a positive for Corey Conners after battling a wrist injury before the final major of the season.

He played the weekend at 10-under at Royal Portrush to backdoor a T10 finish, and the ball-striking wizard finished the tournament ranked first in true strokes gained tee-to-green.

I'm anticipating another solid tee-to-green showing this week at TPC Southwind, and if enough putts fall, Conners could also be in the running for PGA Tour win No. 3.

Finishing position pick: Wyndham Clark Top 20
+160 at DraftKings

Wyndham Clark bookended his standout T4 at The Open with a T11 at the Scottish Open and a T12 at the 3M Open while ranking ninth in this field in true strokes gained on approach and seventh in putting during the strong stretch.

Pair his solid form with the added motivation to continue playing in the FedEx Cup Playoffs and build a case to be included on the American Ryder Cup team, and I like Clark to string together four more solid rounds this week.

FedEx St. Jude Championship first-round pick

Round 1 pick: Daniel Berger Under 68.5
-105 at DraftKings

While this will be Daniel Berger’s first trip back to TPC Southwind since a T5 finish in the 2021 WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational, he’s a two-time winner at the track and also carded a T2 in 2020.

He’s also gained true strokes on approach in four consecutive events to rank fourth in this field in the metric during the stretch, in addition to ranking fourth in driving accuracy. I also value Berger ranking 19th on the PGA Tour in adjusted scoring average this season and expect him to play well Thursday.
