I use data a lot more in other sports but tonight’s Lynx game has an interesting trend

0-11 are teams that played in the finals the previous season and start the following season 2-0 ats when these teams last game they were also a favorite.

I’m not happy this is against an 8-24 ATS Wings team that’s also 0-2 but the Lynx weren’t that good last season laying -10 or more.

Clearly the Lynx opponents this season in the Sky and the Wings again were not worthy because of the road lines are more favorable for the road team. Now at home they have to contend with a greater line.

I guess we will see if a greater home line makes a difference. Clearly in past seasons a past championship caliber team struggles in game 3. -11 or more is a lot but sometimes like the Aces -14 last night the line is quickly pushed aside like a kindergartner

Wings cover 9-28 ATS and with The Lynx having difficulty scoring the game stays under for only the 11th time in 36 Wings games.

This is the mystics team I predicted to be one of the bottom feeders this season.  They had their awesome run and the Tedder Totter is back even right where it should be.
