Do any of you that have been on this board for years remember the poster brutaljoe? He posted almost daily throughout the 2021 season and was on a legendary run. He and some other posters like Fazz and Aussie made for a fun season though I lost my shirt that year betting this stuff. But in honor of that I’ll do a brutaljoe impersonation for a bit and see how it goes.
ATL -8 at WAS, 156.5 - Line has moved up to -8. Not sure what to do with this one. WAS sneaky good late last year but not healthy and Engstrom and Dolson would need to be really good to hang here. Kind of like the under but would rather play a live under in the scoring is high in 1H.
MIN -5.5 at DAL, 163 - Leaning DAL here but just concerned Bueckers may struggle her first game out and that Dallas may turn the ball over. I think DAL will try to play fast and turnovers will lead to point. So Play 1 is the over 163.
LAS -5 at GS, 163 - Under under under. WAY too much inaugural excitement. Lack of offensive execution is a real possibility. GS struggled preseason and first team offenses. Play 2 is the full game under. This is a MAX play.

best wishes in your picks and I like unders early. Lots of youth in the league jo. They will have growing pains. The vets know the game a lot more. Adjustments will be needed as they gain experience.

Finally got a classic WNBA low-scoring quarter in LAS at GS. So, 3-1 with 1-1 being MAX so a +1.56 unit evening. My happiness was a bit marred by the Mystics winning as that’s not the way to start my under 15.5 wins on the season. Until tomorrow have a nice evening gents!
