I have reserched my mistake on the SEA game the other day and found my mistake. That won't happen again. Anyway on to the game. I like SAC 1st half becuase of several factors. Atlanta has been on a loooooooog road trip and now they come home and with that comes all the distractions of catching up with hubby and the kids. Even the seasoned teams have a letdown alot of times and they are a very young team. SAC is just a far superior team and they controled the game last time until the fourth but being up so much they just coasted. In addtiion Atlanta is a second half team and tends to come out slow. GL

 I am adding the over to my play because of the line movement. The last game opened at 159.5. This game opened at 155 and has now ahot up to 159 even though 75% of the public is on the under. Whenever I see a reverse movement like that something is up. I am taking the over at 158 with a point buy> GL

Well were on the same page,have Sac-4 and over for game,going to add your FH,and because of Atl.taking awhile to get going,thinking about the FH under also,GL

Took Sac-3 FH,passed on total of 77,plus Sac.was-105 so we get to test your theory again.

For the night games,
 
Detroit was caught looking ahead to this game and promptly lost to Sac.  Sac played a good game, but Detroit really beat themselves in that game.  Detroit will also look for revenge from their last meeting in LA.  Look for Detroit to bounce back, and LA continue their road woes.

Houston has been a pretty reliable play at home all year, and there's no reason to bet against them here since they're still playing well.  They let a big lead slip in Phoenix the last time they played, and these gals will remember it, and they'll look for revenge for all those times they've lost to Phoenix in a row.. chicks are scary when they're set on revenge.

big time-- nice call on minny, quick bet on my part..missed the line movement...should have been a no play.    Maybe it's just me but  when i take the same side for 1H & game it almost always splits or lose both... like your det pick but won't play both 1H & game.

I actually like the Det 1H more as well, I can see them jumping out to a pretty good lead by the half, and things may get a bit dicey from there.  I also like the Houston game more than 1H.  Houston has lost way too many in a row to the same team, and don't think that these biatches don't keep track of shit like that.  Watch has reminded me that Houston doesn't defend the 3's well against Pho, but I don't think Pho will drop enough on Houston tonight.

Here's another reason I like Det and Houston tonight.. and perhaps even Chicago:
 
The WNBA schedule has 5 games tonight, this season there already has been a night with 5 or more games 12 times.  Of those 12, the best night for visiting teams were 3-3 SU, and it happened twice (June 23 and July1), the other 10 times the home team had a better winning % (naturally), and sweeping 5-0 (the only time a sweep has occured) on July 12. 
Visiting teams have already won 2 or the five games, and to me, it's high unlikely that the rest of the visiting teams will win more 1 of the 3 remaining games.  The spreads are close enough that winning teams win SU will also cover ATS.
This really tough since Bigtime and Watch have liked all 3 of the remaining visiting teams.
But I've already gone with Det, Chi, and Houston... lets see how this goes...

Det Shock vs LA Sparks.....
 
LA is 0-8 in last 8 ATS
LA is 0-5 in last 5 road games ATS
The OVER is 8-2 in LA's last 10
 
Det OVER is 5-1 in the last 6
 
LA looks like used toilet paper if they cant play 2-man and feed the ball to Leslie or Parks inside.  Though I LOVE BOBBIT cuz she is fast and quick, she cant shoot for shit and she will mess up a lay-up after a sweet shake and bake.    Det, though sketchy as a favorite at home, is strong defensively and as sketchy as they are as the home favorite, LA is MUCH WORSE as the dog on the road.
 
For this and other reasons, I like

I dont know about that.  My book had the tip off scheduled for 7pm all along.

Otown, yes I really do like Houston, they've really gotta stop that streak... and usually I find myself on the same side as you, but gotta stick to my gut this time...
 
And thank you for your input as well.  Regardless what side anyone is on, I think everyone would appreciate listening to the logical reasoning behind why they're making their picks.  GL

Did anybody catch the under at 145? Or did everyone get on it at 136-139...I just saw that it opened at 145 for the Indiana/Chicago game. Thats a helluva middle opportunity.

went 2-2 on Det, but went 2-0 on the Hou/Pho taking the OVER and Pho+3.5

you know what?  I will take 4-2 every day of the friggin week and twice on Sunday

Well was 1-2 off my original pics for night games... but double ups on both the Det 2nd half and Hou 2nd really saved my day and ended up on the good side.
 
2 boneheaded plays by Detroit (Nolan on the break) and Houston (up 3 with ball and less than 24, turn over), messed up any chance of covering the originals... but those are just the way it bounces, can't really complain.  Early lean on the lowly Mystics

Don't have a strong feeling on this game.  May make a small play on Was ML for juice.  The only reason I would play it is that NYL does not seem to play well in Wash... but they own them regardless this season.  Very small play on Wash ML and wait for 2nd half, will probably get a better feel for it then.
